this is how NOT to clean a chimney folks, this guy is inhaling soot which can lead to cancer, further to this the soot is going onto the room, and will settle, anyone going into the room, will also inhale the soot, and also the damage soot can cause to furniture etc, these DIY things should be banned, to do the Job proper, you need the right equipment and training, as you will never know if that flue is clean & safe.
