The human mind is very powerful and has an intricate imagination. In these situations your sensitivity is heightened as well. You can definitely create some false realities in your mind while hiking alone in the woods. This is the same reason these stories are so enjoyable for us to listen to.

I just found this channel last night. I always love a new horror narration channel! It gives me something to listen to at work. I can't be finding new videos to watch every 10-15 minutes though so I'm glad I found another long form channel! And one that posts a lot!
