Legend Craft does not disclose any weights on their website unfortunatley. However I would guestimate their .100 gauge 16' models to be in the 3-500lb range for dry weight

They certainly can but we would not reccomend it. The 267 has a dedicated insulated fish box in the bow, insulated console cooler, and 4 insulated livewells that would better serve that purpose!

Nice looking boat but the lack of switches makes it a no go. I don’t want to have to switch to a different screen to turn on light, pumps, lights, etc.

This particular model is priced right at $110,055 plus tax and title. This includes frieght, prep, and the Wesco trailer!

That's a good point, fortunately Sportsman designs in an oversized access hatch behind the folding aft bench seat into all of their Open series models. This way if you opt for the Sea Keeper on this boat you still have unimpeded access to the bilge!

This particular model is ready to accept a Sea Keeper 2 Gyro stabilizer if you would like to add one!

I've been out in a smaller version of this on the ocean with some heavy seas. If you are catching bigger fish (and the trash talkers never seem to actually fish or catch fish) you can bring an insulated fish bag with ice and use the forward under seat storage etc - boat has good storage. Not a pure fishing boat at all (ie, you wouldn't want to be doing 10-12 big fish on it, but if you are out with 4 guys total and maybe 2 kids it's a ton of fun to get out before dawn and back in afternoon.

The Heritage 231 comes with twin 8 gallon livewells, and is indeed built to be the ultimate family center console boat for sandbar days. That is why the livewell space is sacrificed on Heritage models to provide more seating for the family. For the more serious angler Sportsman makes the Open 232, which shares the same hull as the Heritage, but with a more open layout for fishing and greater livewell space!
