So sorry this happened to you. You have opened up about something that no one should have to go through. You are amazing for this. If I were to give you a grade it would be A+. It retouched me when you described your report cards. I can tell you have been strong your whole life and I hope that you can somehow use the gifts you have and do something great!!

Yeah. I don't know if people truly MEAN to be inconsiderate, but the do say an awful lot of stuff that is, at the very least, ill-considered. A lot of it is socially conditioned. The things people think they're supposed to say in a particular situation. It's habit more than malice, I think. Most of the time. BUT I know, too, from my own experiences, that the empty platitudes most people give that are supposed to make "you feel better" or "be grateful" for whatever you DID get, when they have no idea about your life just don't cut it, do they?
Beautiful lady. Glad to see that you are being made stronger as you navigate life.
