Play it in offline mode when you start and all modes are available. I cannot get enough of this game. I've got 300 hours in it.

multiplayer had been shut off, and by default racing sessions are public and all modes outside story are into a session- so whenever you try, it crashes. Just turn off multiplayer sessions, or click the initial pop up message about cancelling and playing offline. Turning off wifi on Quest works too. Anyway, career and race creator are fully working in offline sessions. Btw, you're on Quest 3. Crank up that resolution, try 80Hz, should be pretty smooth. Reflections are not about mirrors, the game is already having a hard time just rendering to both eyes, let alone mirrors. The reflections are the metallic shine on cars and cockpit instruments - looks very dull otherwise. I love night races and rainy days. I turn off weather effects, very lame. GL is great, it was even better back at launch with multiplayer. Unfortunately brats demanding shiny PC graphics crapped so much on the game store that EA quickly abandoned it. There's nothing even remotely comparable for Quest, but Driven is a somewhat good arcade racer with slightly better graphics... just not anywhere close to the content, driving physics or geometry on screen...

I really love playing this. I can't really enjoy QuestZDoom without brutal, as vanilla's guns are too slow to be in a VR game. also, the 3d weapons pack make it tons more enjoyable and easier to look at.

nice video man. As a fellow blade and sorcery youtuber, I'd say if you want more fast paced you should turn on melee only. But that's only if you WANT fast paced. Not saying you need to do fast paced to be successful.

I guess the people complaining that all levels look the same only played the first two levels.

Food was not your problem. You started worrying about food before your were even hungry. After that you would start feeling weak (which has no negative impact) and then you would start fainting (you pass out and get killed by monsters more likely than die of starvation). In your desire to quickly find food you possibly missed out 3 rooms on level 5 and another 3 on level 6. 6 rooms that could have had food in them or equipment that could have helped against the centaur.

7:50 Eating food does nothing to increase your health. Stand in a space away from the doors and press "s" (search) multiple times until you are satisfied with your health (Don't just leave your finger on the button!). Best not to do this in a dark room, so you can see if a monster enters the room and you can react by shooting at it.

6:27 To speed up movement press "f" (find) and the direction you want to move once. In a room you will move in a straight line until you hit a wall, step into a trap or find some gold, an item or a monster. In the hallways you follow the path around bends until you find something. That way you avoid rushing past monsters and giving them multiple chances of hitting you. 6:38 No need to search. The map has a 3x3 grid, there are no rooms up there and you will not find loot in the hallways. (Unless dropped by a monster that you just killed) And I don't think I have ever come across a hallway with both ends being hidden doors.

"You hear a high pitched humming noise" is a scroll of aggravate monsters. That's why you had a sudden cluster of monsters come at you in that level. It's best to draw that scroll early in the game, like you did. I advise reading scrolls when you're sitting on the stairs, ready to go down. If you get aggravate or create monster then you have your escape ready if needed. If you get magic mapping then it was most likely wasted, but that's I chance I don't mind taking. If you waste a scroll of food detection, their not that useful anyway.

Ok, that first scroll "You feel as if somebody is watching over you" is a scroll of remove curse. If you had equipped an armor, weapon or ring that was cursed you would now be able to remove that item. You would also be able to re-equip and re-remove any such formally cursed items. Can make sense with a ring of teleportation. If you have equipped 2 cursed rings, a cursed weapon and a cursed armor the scroll will lift the curse on all 4! If you have unequipped cursed items in your inventory then the scroll has no effect on them. It's advisable not the read any scroll until you have at least 1 potion, ring or staff. If that first scroll is identification and you have nothing to identify, then it was wasted.
