My first ever Mashup, I hope you love it as much as I had loved making it.
I was listening to Keep u warm when the idea of a mashup came to me because this song just felt like like it can go well with Till I met you, and when I was listening to Till I met you it felt it can go well with Glass house. At first I was hesitant because I have never made a Mashup before but ended up doing after all.

This is under a playlist "Experiment", because these types of videos are just for experimentation. In this video we are using a kick sample to choose which is better between a compression and an EQ when it comes to shaping your samples. I find using a compression produces a solid clean result. Remember it's just a matter of preference, no right or wrong.

A wide bass played back in mono systems can sometimes lose its power due to phase cancellation. There are many different ways but in this video I show one way of fixing this issue. 1. Hey i had question for a long time like in drops what if i just duplicate my super saws make them mono and then pan one to the right and one to the left is it make sense??
Hey!! If you pan the same sound left and right, the effect is the same as just leaving it at the center, it won't make your supersaws wide, go to time stamp 0:21, instead try to choose another variation of a saw wave, maybe i'll make a video on how to layer supersaws
Haas can be too limited and stuff, so other stereoizing techniques are good to have ready when needed, but I probably haas like half the elements of my mix most of the time to help separate them. It's much easier for your brain to distinguish sounds of different stereo width, so it can be a cool alternative to eq for mixing.
Yep that's true!! some Haas effect plugins are able to counteract the phase problem by maybe adding a different color to the duplicated signal. background elements. maybe i'll make a continuation of this video, how to use effects like delay, chorus, etc to make a wide sound.

It's a good thing to be aware of, not that you shouldn't use it, just be careful with it because sometimes you end up with a thin mix and you don't know the culprit, now you know where you'll look.

My DAW doesn't have "blur," what can I do to replicate/substitute the effect?
A chain of different delays, reverbs, choruses, flanger, distortion, basically just play with these effects until you get something you like, one delay and one reverb would do though, put the mix to 100%, don't forget to play with a filter

The fastest way is to learn an instrument, everything will 1000 times clearer after👍
I highly recommend starting with ukulele(cause its the least complicated instrument)

learn what a chord is, what a scale is, then learn about a couple of other types of chords, and a video or two on tips to make chords sound better/more emotional and the rest of the stuff in this video should become pretty clear
