Helsinki Central Station is a terminus station located in the heart of Helsinki. It consists of 19 tracks and serves on average 200,000 passengers per day. The current station building opened all the way back in 1919.
Over a hundred long-distance trains and about 850 commuter trains arrive at and depart from the station every weekday. The trains in Finland are operated by the government-owned railway company VR-Group.
This video is an extensive compilation of the different commuter and long-distance trains at Helsinki Central Station. I tried to provide as much information as possible about each train in the caption shown with each train.

The HLE 18 is an electric locomotive from the NMBS/SNCB built between 2009 and 2012. These locomotives are from the Siemens Eurosprinter family and are based on the Taurus IV-platform. hope to take the Charleroi Metro one day, for La Brugeoise et Nivelles, helped build the Manila Light Rail Transit system by supplying the trains similar to these and the S1 trains of Amsterdam. Being 3-car high floor vehicles, also soon to be replaced by 4th generation vehicles.
hello i’m guessing they use the MR96 for trains mostly going to Antwerp? Was curious what type of train they would use when i’m going to have a Brussels Zaventem - Antwerpen Centraal trip
Yep, you're right. From Brussels Zaventem Airport to Antwerpen Centraal, you will most likely ride the MR96. Although you could also use the ICD from Brussels-Zuid/Midi to Amsterdam between the airport and Antwerpen Centraal, I hope this was helpful. Enjoy your trip in Belgium 😊

Ik vind het toch nog altijd raar om een dubbeldekstrein in België zoals de M7-stellen zonder locomotief te zien rijden. Ik wist niet eens dat deze een gemotoriseerd stuurrijtuig gingen hebben toen deze op het net kwamen...
Het is even wennen, maar ik vind de M7's een mooie nieuwe toevoeging aan het NMBS materieel 😊
Ik moet zeggen dat er veel korte treinstellen te zien zijn (die breaks, Desiro's enz.), is dat normaal in die regio?
Dit is niet uitzonderlijk nee, vooral omdat ze als stoptreinen gebruikt worden op niet zo'n drukke trajecten. Tijdens de spits kunnen er natuurlijk wel extra stellen gekoppeld worden, corrigeer me als ik fout ben 😊

Het blijft me verbazen hoeveel treinen helemaal onder de graffiti zitten. 🥴. Zowel nieuw als oud materieel.
Dit is inderdaad spijtig genoeg een groot probleem in België. Treinen zijn vaak aantrekkelijk voor graffiti spuiters omdat deze heel het land rond rijden, waardoor de graffiti zo overal wordt tentoongesteld. Helaas denken ze niet verder aan de kosten en schade die dit veroorzaakt 🙄

I'd love to see some electric freight trains here in the US, but it seems to be a long way before that happens.
That would be great, but you're right, there is likely a significant amount of work that needs to be done to the infrastructure beforehand.

misschien heb ik dit verkeerd gehoord, maar op l 25 kan toch straks 200 gereden worden, als er emtrs ligt?
Daar had ik nog niet van gehoord, maar dat zou in de toekomst natuurlijk kunnen als de infrastructuur op deze lijn dit toelaat. Momenteel is de maximale snelheid op L25 wel nog 160 km/h 😊
