GT sort of ruins what they set up here tbh. The next generation, Uub and Pan are sort of nullified a bit, it was disappointing. They should have taken over as the new main characters, now grown up and fully trained. It would have been immense.

Dont feel bad, recent arcs of Super have been somewhat making it my favorite especially Daima if i count that as its own arc and ive been watching and even reading Dragon Ball since i was a kid. The series is just that GREAT Also yeah, everything outside of the Dragon Ball prior to Super treat as part of the Toei canon even the DBZ anime itself cuz it makes its own changes.

the legendary super saiyan broly movie is not canon and neither is his backstory, this is the canon broly and he has a completely different backstory, this broly doesn’t even kno who goku or vegeta are, he has probably heard his father talk about vegeta but never met him until now

Broly being heavily autistic coded is kinda cool ngl. Anyone that says its untrue, youve never interacted with a high functioning autistic before. Broly is for sure like that in this film and its kinda cute ngl.
