@@Healy82 from the jump line easy, but steeper from the bottom backup to the top from the bottom of the valley where all the other trails finish, not long though and nothing at all like Cwmcarn or afan in steepness or length.

No mate, it's actually located at Michaelston forest but is in the Afan valley and isn't too far from the Afan forest mountain biking centre.

The gopro is so deceptive, those trails were well steep, right outside my comfort zone and probably need new brake pads 😂 I'd never ride there alone just in case. Next time we plan to go I'll give you a shout and you can tag along if you want. Absolute beast of a climb even on the eeb!

Cheers mate, was sooooo needed. Smashed a load of PB's. Locomotion has been completely revamped, I didn't know! 1st jump is now a gap jumpish and as it's blind I didn't find out I didn't have enough speed to fully clear it, MASSIVE case. Worth a look though the rest of the trail is banging, a small road gap and some shark fins. What the conditions on the N Cardiff trails like now? Need to get over to gwaelod never been that side so don't know it.

@@jjmtb1762 sounds great locomotion. I can show you Gwaelod. Tuesday and Thursdays at 5pm Ty Nant pub Morganstown and ride up from there, through taffs well quarry as some nice descents and bits and pieces in there as well.

Yeah Mate, it was running prime Sat all good apart from two dickhead sat chilling on their bikes in the middle of the trail where sixtapod spits out of the woods, it's more apparent in si's vid! Yep the mid section in Wibbly has been flattened, and widened, fencing and awkward rock gone, kinda ruins it a bit. Yeah got to love the rubber boys!

All from the Sunday when we both there but couldn't link up! Nerd to try it on superview see what it's like, not quite as wide. Horizon lock gives some cool effects especially when cornering.

Cheers dude, slowly getting confidence back. Hit it a bit harder and faster at bpw last weekend!

It's like new bike day 2.0 I'd only had it three weeks before I had the accident last year. Yeah loving it, eeb makes such a diff, we also did heartburn as well as back run, beacon view and all of whytes lvl in just short of two hrs. Game changer!

Had watch loads of vids to remind myself how to use premiere!

Had to try manouver the eeb down the trail to the road tunnel halfway, rider came down behind me and lifted it over the fence for me, had to push it the few miles down the road to the bottom! Yeah ribs and liver healed, waiting on surgery for shoulder, needs to be plated. Can't wait to get back on the bike been nearly four months now! Cheers.

@@jjmtb1762 You're still waiting on surgery? Man that's shit how is healthcare so bad in the UK? In Australia I had to wait a few days and I thought that was bad. I did mine late February. Similar to you got thrown off the bike, in my case I was about to power back up a hill, chain skipped on rear sprocket and got thrown forward and bike went out from underneath me. Probably grabbed the front brake too when it happened, since my finger was resting on the lever. Happens so fast it's just reflexes. Guessing that's what you did too. I broke clavicle and 4 ribs and absolutely massive bruise/muscle tear on my hip area. I sounded like you too after the crash, more winded though. I was doing about 50kmph when I hit the tarmac. I've been on a trainer for about 4 weeks now, hoping I get clearance to ride outside soon at 6 week mark, but only riding my MTB on paved roads, won't go off road for 12 weeks to be safe. Really strongly suggest getting a smart trainer so you can zwift etc, its really addicting the races so it's not boring, keeps you fit.

@@AM-bl2cs the ribs and liver healed fine but the collarbone did not. Had to wait full 12 weeks to see if it would heal, turns out I'm in the 1% that it doesn't heal for! Went private then, even then there was a two month wait for surgery, backlog in the NHS caused bu covid pushing larger volumes of patients into private health care, perfect shitstorm. Had the surgery beginning of march, plated and bone graft, can resume light exercise end of April, gonna be end of June before I'm hitting trails again, a full nine months since the crash. Don't think I hit the brake, back tyre blew out and caused me to lose control. Hope you back on the trails soon mate.

@@jjmtb1762 I was allowed to ride a stationary after 2 weeks, once the dressing of the wound is off/sutures are out you should be fine to start exercise! I put all my weight on my good arm for the first week or so of riding on the trainer, now 6 weeks post I can use both arms. I just got an xray today and the bones haven't fused yet. Will see what doc says tomorrow but I'm hoping I can be cleared to ride outside on smooth surfaces for the weekend!

Doesn't look as bad as the damage it caused does it!

That was in April when we had some amazing weather so the trail conditions were really good. Deffo be a bit wary of that wooden takeoff after a sustained period of rain!

This bit starts a little up from the sheepskull downhill start. You can't miss it.

Nah man sorry. If heading up the climb go past sheepskull start and you literally can't miss the start of it, bout 20m up on the left.
