Wow that looks great, much better than all the Minifigure scale models I've seen.

Fun fact: the removal of the legs is actually more accurate to the source material as max rebo was designed as playing the piano with only two leg-like limbs in return of the Jedi, with his lower body simply resting on a cushion.

Captain Rex is an iconic character they couldn’t have kept them exclusive forever

The time limit of the word exclusive is infinite or do you want your girlfriend to stay exclusive just for a period of time and then everyone can have her?

It shouldn’t have been identical. At least alter the printing a little. They also hurt the people who paid outrageous prices because the character is significant to them.

Scalpers are mad that people can access a beloved character (They want to sell it for 1000 dollars)

You really hit the nail on the head but I have some counterpoints, you say "new" as if it is the same to "exclusive". New doesn't hold the same value, New means it is New and there could be more while exclusive is an absolute. Other considerations include that Lego released venator Rex first to grapple more money then once that died down released the same rex under the microfighter. A scummy buisness practice on top of the exclusivity. I think the Rex arguments are very inportant and was the catalyst fir deeper arguments. I think the Rexs should be different just like every other UCS fig. I argued it hurt collectors which you actually mentioned. I was attacked for that and so much other things. Things that define Lego to people. So my theory is it erupted from deep seeded Lego groups clashing. Things like sets having value, enjoyment of that value, how collectors are hoarders etc. Idk the whole thing is just a huge mess. It also bugged me how pro-same Rex people kept talking in part tense like "Rex is a main character he shouldn't be locked behind a huge paywall" which dosen't make any sence, did they really think there wouldn't be any Rex's ever made? Like obviously it would come out soon. Sorry if my thoughts were everywhere, my opinions were actually talked about and with great wording so thank you

Why did you choose pink, and not the purple as seen in the 2003 Clone Wars that matches his purple lightsaber? Or maybe it is purple and the lighting just makes it look pink, not sure

I do want to correct myself - Yes, on rebrickable Martin Lego built the model in person and rebuilt the arms to connect correctly. This was not included in the instructions, however, which I think is misleading. He also does not have the parts to connect the arms in the partslist. I will also say that he does not look very good with his arms connected, it still looks much too thick. Still, this character makes a fine addition to my collection!
