Hmm I'm not sure what you mean by muscat flavor, like in wine? I don't drink alcohol so I'm not sure but it's super juicy, fragrant and sweet. No sourness at all. It is very different from purple or red grapes.

@@NamiEats Liquor (parsley sauce) instead of gravy. A different shape to the pie also. People still eat pies like that one in London ofc, its a UK wide dish. But London pie and mash is a particular thing, especially in the East End. Look up East End pie shops if you're interested :)

@NamiEats Thanks! That's what I was thinking, but I couldn't find much information online (at least in English-my Korean is rough 😅) so it's nice to have confirmation before my next attempt. I did see the big bubbles and cook for a bit after that, but probably not long enough. I was worried about overcooking it. :(

@@joon0 Yeahh it's really easy to overcook it too, I think it just takes some experimenting and recognizing when the color and consistency is just right. Hope your next try comes out delicious!

Hello, thanks for stopping by! Acorn jelly isn't sweet, it's very slightly nutty but mostly a very mild flavor. It's mostly eaten for the smooth texture. It's best eaten chilled.

Hi Shaira! I apologize for the super late response :( Red pepper powder (gochugaru) can't substitute gochujang, since gochujang adds other flavours like sweetness and also texture.

I reckon you could use oxtails instead! For the salted shrimps, you can use soy sauce instead. You may need to add more to taste. And thank you very much!

I got pork neck from a Chinese grocery, so try Chinatown! For perilla seeds and leaves you could try Montreal Korean & Japanese Foods, that's the largest Korean grocery I know in Montreal. Those toppings are optional though so you could skip them if you can't find them

Good to know. I'll skip the perilla for now then. I swear I've searched the Chinese grocery stores for pork neck bone every time I go and never found any. Today, they were everywhere.
