Admittedly, the Rafale probably is the best plane for this, alongside the F15E. He plays disabled mostly so the only reason to play 2500 is to avoid darkstars pretty much, I don’t entirely blame him for that. Although, he did also lose a round before this to my mig21 3-1

Thanks, just gotta point that beam at the enemy. It becomes a lot easier at range about >4000m. I try to keep the plane level then use yaw and pitch, and I tend to stay off throttle to keep the distance and make sure the handling of the plane stays consistent

Lots of basic theory around BFM can be applied to the battle royale aspect of this game. Stuff like maximising turn rate, 2 circle and 1 circle fights, turning kinetic energy into nose position. But also lots of mechanics around the missiles are different to real life. The missiles always try to follow pure pursuit instead of leading the targets and have unlimited energy in a way, but limited turn rate. I suspect if real pilots played this game they would be OK-ish at energy fighting but struggle with the fine movements required for gun aim and terrible at PSM because it would make no sense to them.

Yeah stuff like this ruins my immersion smh
