    Thank you for the suggestions! One question: in here you're just comparing how well the 3 methods fit historical data. How how you know that the best historical fit is the best prediction? Also, how do you create a plateau effect?

    Hello. I want to let you know that you did a mistake doing a regression calculus because you can't multiply years with population, they are two totaly different things - years are as a date and population is just a numeric data. If I'm thinking wrong please let me know.

    • @excelstatistics358
      @excelstatistics358 4 года назад

      You are incorrect. They are X & Y variables in the regression (year and population). The Year Coefficient multiplies times the year to estimate the population. By this estimate, the population grows 3.1 million per year. Mathematically speaking it is irrelevant what the labels are for the data.

    The p-values of all 3 independant variables in the regression model are greater than 0,05 means these independant viariables are not significant. If the null hypothesis is - there is no correlation between 3 variables and GPA, p-value says we cannot reject the null hypothesis. How do you explain that ?
