How is the driving experience? Are there more/louder pops/exhaust cracks while driving or does the GLS "loose his sound"? I wish you could do a driving experience with the deleted resonator. I own also a GLS 63 AMG X166 and love the sound, but i think it still goes better than it is yet!

Did you replace the resonator with the magnoflo x pipe muffler? I deleted my mufflers have drone at 1800 rpms. Trying to get rid of that drone.

I dont know why but mine sounds louder and i have almost the same exhaust system. it might be the mic. I have an xfr rear active muffleres, resonators delete replaced with an x pipe, catless downpipes, larger supercharger water pump k&n air filters, 19inch light weight wheels with drag radials on the rear. No tune or pulley yet. And made 502whp on a dyno. My best 1/4 mile was 11.8 at 122

Just the Axelback. With a custom xpipe retaining the true dual sewtup of the Nismo. Im running stock cats right now.

Thanks for the comment man. I blew it up because of many factors. I did all the mods except fuel mods which was a big mistake. If you are going to mod then add a fuel rail and larger injectors before anything. Also be careful in manual mode because if you don't shift in time the car will cut fuel possibly causing detonation.

I'm asking because I'm looking into purchasing a w211 E55 real soon, I knew maintenance is on the expensive side but I always thought the AMG motors were real stout & bulletproof. This sort of thing scares me; on a side note your E55 is one of the best sounding 55K's I've heard
