Another reason to NOT WC - the transfer window is still open. Players that played 90 mins and you thought were nailed, might suddenly not be first choice at all. If Sterling to AVL for example - might impact on Rogers. Felix to Chelsea - where does that leave Nkunku? Toney could end up at MANU and be essential - who knows! IMO Only reason to WC would be to address multiple fires where you can't even get 10 players out (Barco, Quansah, Porro?, Danilo, benched players which are due to be sold abroad) but you're probably already done for anyway. Having said that, there's always a team in March, which would be top 100 without using any transfers at all - you would have to get extremely lucky and get on the right bandwagons immediately.

Used it to get Haaland in and reset some of my defenders as I had quansa and barco, could go badly but now that I can save up 5 transfers I don't think it's as much of a big deal.

I like the idea of having a 4.5m. However I still think 5m and 5.5m goalkeepers are good options. Maybe 1 4.5m gk would have similar points to the 5m and 5.5m goalkeepers but I can see a decent points gap if the wrong 4.5m is chosen. I'm unsure if Flekken would be my choice as I'm not a fan of the fixtures.

In that team I would probably for GW1 play Barco over Gvardiol. Maybe more risky as more people own Gvardiol and would play him but in that team I would bench him as clean sheet odds against Everton for Barco should be decent.

I keep making drafts that aren't Haaland+Salah and the problem is that this combo makes a perfect (C) for every week. One or the other would just mean that player is the perma captain every week. Having both means you can toggle their captancies and get two games vs promoted teams and zero games vs top teams for your premium captain. One player with a captain armband and a hattrick can outperform the entire squad of some other managers.
