For more than 30 years I couldn't figure out what Alan Paul said at the 8 second mark. (I eventually made Google my friend. D'oh.)
NOT directed by Ridley Scott, but produced by RSA2 - owned by RS. Director here was Howard Guard, shot at Bray Studios. How do I know? I created the commercial for AKAI UK - agency Benjamin Benjamin Ass.
I'm not sure about AKAI is OK ? ..ok is a by word for ordinary hardly a recommendation to buy over a competitor ...too much emphasis on word play. ...Great brand in its day with an enthusiastic following Excellent tape products from the reel to reel era
