Hi, I am Evy. Together with my husband Michiel, I am a beginning scuba-diver, currently exploring the cold Dutch waters. Michiel is not very new and fresh though, he has been diving for over 15 years. Once went for his PADI certificate back in Aruba, but recertified for SSI about 10 years ago. He has been trying to get me diving ever since, without luck up untill 2 years ago. Tired of the endless question "When are you going to make an intro dive?" (which was for some reason, also being asked by one of his colleagues), I let him make an appointment with a divecentre not too far away, my intro-instructor being his colleague.
Little did I know ... ;-) Signed up for the Open Water course as soon as I left the water, hah! Turns out I have alot of boundaries to pass, but now I made it to the point of wanting to become an instructor. It's going to have alot of bumps on the way, but I gladly take you all along with me on this journey.
