Stanwyk wanted off the show almost immediately because she foresaw it was a disaster. I don't really have any favorite episode as I dropped it almost immediately. It lacked deprh and was very poorly written. The family daynamics paled in comparisons to The Kennedy family, a real life family who had more shine then the disastrous Colby spinoff. If I had to pick a favorite moment it was the series opener with Jason arriving in grand style; a helicopter.

Dorothy, Dale's sister, was born and died before Dale was born so Dale never knew her. Susan was his 5th wife in fact. The media don't check facts, they just tell stories. Dale actually passed away on 26 Feb 2013. It they had bothered to look this up on the internet, they would have seen his obituary which give the correct date. A very good summary of Dale's life and so many of his charitable works. He was open, honest, never judged anyone apart from those who were less than honest with him and he wasn't afraid to name them too! I'm afraid that Susan never revealed any secrets after Dale's death. I know as I helped proof read the 2nd edition of her bio of Dale - she just expanded the knowledge of what was known about Dale.

I hate it when I hear that Diana died in 2022!! That's not true. She is still alive and in very good health. She is 86 years old and working every day for the animals!!
