I loveeeee sky rush I have a season pass for Hershey park I go there all the time

I was there on June 10th. It was my first time going as well. Loved every minute of it. Did not have the guts to ride Leviathan, Yukon Striker or Behemoth but hoping to build up the courage to do those ones the next time I go there. The big drops after the lift hills unfortunately terrify me. I'm hoping to get over that fear next time I go to ride the big roller coasters. Really hoping to go back there soon. Had a blast while I was there.

oh man first visit heck ya man, hope you enjoyed the park. I have been going to this park every year since 1987 no BS. my fav coaster is Dragon Fyre its my first and last ride every time I go.

I have a lot of memories of that little Arrow Mine Train - it's a real throwback, and probably not much rougher than they all were back in the 60's. I grew up going to this park, and I think I have faint kid memories of the original wooden supports through the back of the ride also. It's too bad that the recent expansions have taken out so many of the trees around the mine train, taking away a lot of the "train ride through the pine trees" charm that the ride had when I was a kid. I think it also helps it feel a little faster when you have trees close to the ride. My favorite element on Mindbender was always that banked turn down in the water bowl, it's something I've recreated in so many of my Planet Coaster rides 😁 I hear you on the missing shade in Gotham City - back in the 90's there used to be a lot more trees which helped a LOT. They've changed the theming in there so many times and I think each change stripped out dozens of trees and replaced them with concrete, something the park has in common with the city at large. I never rode Blue Hawk as it's built now - when it was Ninja it was infamously painful - the new trains seem to have helped with the "ear-boxing", plus a critical re-tracking which I think helped smooth things out quite a bit and reduced the sharp side-to-side shifts. I never got to do Daredevil Dive - it's been years since I went to the park but the last few times I went the wait was 2+ hours. Twisted Cyclone was very restricted by the footprint of the original Georgia Cyclone, which was a mirrored clone of the Coney Island Cyclone, so not much room for the faster RMC to stretch.

I wish it was open when I was there 😢

The line for steel vengeance is the my favorite line to stand in because you are right under the tracks and structure of the ride

Nice video! I remember riding it when they had the trim brake before the drop…it still was a headache machine for me. At the time the roughest coaster I ever was on…until I had the displeasure of riding Hades 360 🤯🤪

In terms of launches: 1. Original dragster launch 2. Kingda Ka launch 3. Top Thrill 2's 3rd launch In terms of overall rides: TT2>TTD>KK but these are all close

The helix is a nod to Skyrider the coaster it replaced.

We did 3 days at the park right before Coastermania. First time there in like 17 years. Had a blast, good to see Maverick was running. It went down on us on Tue and reopened mid day Wed. Personally I'd put Iron Gwazi & Wildcats Revenge over SV only because of the mid course. Imo it hurts the pacing and id rather see the layout afew elements shorter if it meant no mid course
