"If you move like this you will hardly get hit" I have moved exactly like this for multiple attempts and every single time my stamina depletes halfway through--therefore preventing me from dodging the rest of the near-infinite hail of arrows, let alone his other attacks. I swear this boss fight turns into a Japanese Shoot-em-up halfway through. If they just lessened the time that arrow spell lasted by a third, then that would make it doable for my character....but unfortunately I'd have to re-spec my character to even run/dodge for that long. Edit: It's probably best to just keep as much distance from Aldrich the moment he telegraphs the near infinite arrow attack. The first 3rd of it you can just position your character away from. It's when it starts getting dangerously close to you that you want to even START running. However, it's not just about running away from it...there's actually an abrupt heel-turn you wanna make when it comes to the hail of arrows where you have to dodge the opposite direction of the arrows once you see the hail of arrows do a bit of a U turn. After that directional Dodge, just make sure that dodge is closer to Aldrich's side and you should have plenty of time to punish him accordingly. Took me a little while to figure out the true nature of that attack, but it's not impossible to evade all of it. Thank God he takes more damage than other bosses, because if he didn't then it would be way more difficult to nail down.

That is why this is the worst souls game. You literally have to over-level characters or their weapons to compensate for bad design to win. It has worse hit boxes than the second one, but uses particle effects and exaggerated character models to try to hide this fact.
