the GH5II isn't a vlog camera - it's more for sit down videos or professional videography. trust me, a vlog camera is next on the list once i save up enough money :p

yeah over time the furniture has made a dent in the foam pieces that it’s on, but we mostly have it just around the furniture pieces. the only heavy furniture sitting on it is one of the legs of our desk and it’s made a dent. but the keyboard is light enough that it doesn’t seem to be leaving any marks!

There's donut "cones" you can get, so she won't run into stuff, and she can't reach the incision.

ikr we’re so in love 🥺 also yes! we got her a donut cone to try but i don’t think we put it on tight enough because she managed to turn it around and chew the velcro strap to take it off and started licking her incision 😩 so after that we just put her in the plastic cone, but she seems to prefer it i think??

@rightbrainrach 😂 that's the "bully" breed for ya! I have a pitbull, and when she got spayed, I had to get her sedatives because she had a bad case of the zoomies and almost tore her stitches. Her last day of the cone, I came home from work, and she had chewed it off. She knew it was time🤷‍♀️🤣

@@ceilihigh omg haha! sounds like our pups are the same because we also had to get her sedatives to calm her down because her zoomies and all her energy were causing her incision to get infected 😭 but she’s healed now and has all the energy in the world! 😅🥰

hello! i'll do my best to help you out! i typically just record in 1080p so i don't have personal experience filming in 4k on this camera yet, but 4k video does take up quite a bit of space. i did a quick google search and found that a video in 4k/30fps typically takes up 450MB per minute... as for the SSD compatibility, i haven't tried or looked into this since i don't have problems with storage filming in HD, but check out this link: www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1699693-REG/panasonic_lumix_gh5_ii_mirrorless.html/overview it's this camera sold on B&H and it looks like you may be able to get an adapter to use SSD minis. not sure how many hours of video you're expecting to record, but there are SD cards with hundreds of GB of storage and some with 1000+ GB, so i'd expect that to be plenty even when filming everything in 4k. hope this was helpful!

@@rachelmariemov Yes, I googled it too. But it sometimes said several GB per minute. You misunderstood the SSD thing. I mean that I record a video, it is saved on the memory card and then I can transfer the data from the memory card to an SSD directly on the camera?

4k video doesnt take much space at 40mb/sec. 250mb/sec uses much more space. Bitrate

thank you! i went with lumix because it was recommended to me as a great camera for both videography and photography, since i'm interested in both but don't have the budget to get two separate cameras for each one!
