I kind of want to know the story of this battlefield and why it got this way. I also think its pretty flipping cool how your lance moves with you helping against targets and actively trying to avoid friendly fire. Wicked gameplay and fun looking setting and battle.

There I was, invading the Inner Sphere in my Totem Mech as a proud soldier in Operation Revival. All of my foes lay in ruins of scrap at the feet of my Mech… I thought the day was won. I thought the pathetic Freebirth Surat outpost was ours! Then my computer registered an enemy Mech emerging from within the outpost defense walls. An Urbanmech… At first I laughed. What was this clearly insuperior machine gonna do? Then I took an AC20 slug to the Center Torso and Crit Warnings started flashing. Had to eject… such dishonor! Now I see the Truth. The Urbanmech is no mere machine. It is condensed death incarnate! To this day, I now always warn the rest of my surviving Sibco to beware the Urbie! And, worst of all, on some planet I left behind far away, there stands still to this day an outpost with its lone celebrated guardian. A single Urbanmech remains its most decorated machine, and its pilot wreathed in honor like an Olympian. Learn this lesson well from an old Clanner who F**ked around and found out the hard way. Comstar may be our insurmountable enemy, but never forget… fear the Urbie!
