I said this on another Channel but isn't it amazing how Patrick Trueman's Debut on The Show in 2001 and The Slaters arrival in 2000 and how it's ripple effect still exist to this day and still after all of these years, Ian still has "Issues" with The Slaters.

I live in Canada and they used to show Old School Episodes of Eastenders in Detroit, MI on PBS (The Educational Channel). I found a Slaters In Detention in The Basement Bargain Bin at HMV so I bought it and those guys were a riot. No matter what like The Dingles they always stood by each other.

Looking back it would have been cool if they did a Flashback Scene with The Slater Girls Growing Up, who do you think would have been good to play her. Also from 2000 to The Present, has there always been a Slater?

In their own way The Slaters are to Walford what The Dingles are To The Dales on Emmerdale, a bit trashy but you can't help but love them.
