Your questions are valid! This was a year ago, it was only like 3 dollars to reserve a ferry from Ceiba to Vieques online. On the website, it shows there are plenty of seats available so we didn't reserve and just show up only to be told that they are sold out for the entire day (we got there at noon and they are saying like the nexy 4-5 operations are booked). We showed them their own website that it shows they have tickets available for 1 pm, 3pm and 7pm. They just say the website is wrong but seem to sell tickets to certain people. The staff refuse to explain but I assume they reserve the majority of seats for the locals and dont sell this section. The ferry did not even look nearly full. That was my situation but I strongly suggest you book online few days in advance. Do not trust their website saying x tickets available. It's only few bucks. I just wanted to save 3 bucks in case I miss ferry time and ended up paying 96 bucks for the charter flight and 3 other people paid the same to share the cost.

Hi! So normally people rent a golf cart which we initially did but ended up cancelling bc we were only there for less than a day basically. Call Taxis can be unreliable but it depends! Your hotel staff may be able to easily call a cab for you. You may consider golf cart. It may be easier for you to rent? Idk. In our case, we ended up dropping that option bc we would need to get a cab anyway to pick up and drop off. Taxi for us was the best :) So jealous that you are going there. I miss it so much

Wow thanks so muchh! So the air " taxi" was around $386 which is why my friend and I tried to find more people to split the cost and it came down to $96 per person. There were 4 of us. Also, bioluminescence was not as bright as I expected, but I did see something.. perhaps bc of the moonlight. It was worth it for me (first timer) but I would not go back for that :)
