All I can say is that this is just the loveliest post! It made me so happy just listening to you. It really got me thinking about a main 2025 planner - just couldn't decide. Because of this post I got out my standard TN. Just the feel of it and the smell of the leather (I know, I'm weird) made the decision, and I'm excited about next year again! I already had an A6 TN for on-the-go and reference, but that's even a little too big and I'm thinking of going to a passport. A Hobo Weeks for Wellness, + a journal for reflection and done!! We have so many choices. Ain't it great?!!TFS.

Fountain pens do not do well on toothy paper and I find that paper to be toothy. I always worry also it will mess up the nibs

I’m using hobonichi for 2025 but I have to say, whenever I’m not in TRC I miss it like crazy!! I need to find a way to at least have one in my system, but I just don’t need it and it’s heartbreaking! 😂

as a tn lover to another, your joy over your tn makes my heart happy :) hope you enjoy your notebooks and stationery in the year to come! as another commenter mentioned, i wonder if utilizing your other covers will help your brain feel like you're in multiple notebooks. also, i 1000% agree with you about writing in hobonichi on the couch! maybe it's also that i used to feel pressure to keep my hobo pristine and *perfect*, while i give myself permission to be a little messy in my traveller's notebook? like, i tell myself that my tn is for travelling, so it's okay if my writing is messier because i'm out and about and experiencing the world. to your point, the narrower width of the tn makes it feel so comfy to write while in one's lap. cheers and thank you for a lovely video. i feel you about work being busy, and you have my gratitude that you took time to film and post :)

if you really want to have multiple books maybe try moving the inserts to your other TN, maybe that will trick your brain

I enjoyed watching your video!! It’s so satisfying to see everything in one spot & I resonated a lot for the mini wins to use up & move into different booklet in a couple of months time span!

I've just received my stand for dippen, Nahvalur Schuylkill Cichlid Purple (Stub) and all my needed booklets etc for my TRC setup. I always tried daily journalling but I find that I haven't got the energy for keeping up with that. That's why I use the weekly planner in the regular TRC size (did do me well for work purposes as well). For Uni One refills you have to stalk Amazon quite frequently, I did that a couple of times and ordered at least 24 refills when available (gel-pens run out of ink way too fast imo).

Thank you for reminding me that I don’t really need a planner, I can use a monthly notebook for that stuff! And just have a notebook for tasks, meal planning etc ❤. Really great video ❤

Thank you for explaining about those emoji stamps. They were on my wishlist, now they are not.

I also leave my main book at home (if I ever leave the house lol) and take my passport travelers out with me to write in and then if need to or want to I transfer to my main book(This year I am using a b6 aura estelle daily but next year will be a cousin). My main book is more of a keepsake/life log than planner anyway and I would be gutted if I lost it.

The a5 hobonichi books do become impractical when you have to leave the house with them😂 I love what you’re doing with your TN!

I love having everything in one place, each insert doing it’s own thing and it’s all compact. I don’t think I could use various books, and often on here see people going through their multiple book systems, invariably saying there’s loads of pages in some of the notebooks or diaries that they haven’t used. That seems such a waste of money really and we know we won’t get that with TN inserts. With TN inserts we get a nice little library of used ones that we can go back to and look through, no wasted pages, while just having the one leather notebook with us 😀
