Yep, seems to be quite good value for the money. Main problem with this patricular RC is lack of cooling system. Brushed motor gets hot quickly and I fried original one, probably along with electronic speed controler. That is why I've bought and installed new motor with heat sink and latest version of electronics with bigger stock heat sink. I have also removed driver mockup to improve airflow.

This is my first Cobi set and it convinced me I won't like Cobi bricks. I rather think of reselling it than of doing more work with it. This is one of the biggest tanks from Cobi I guess so it is probably easiest one to motorize with LEGO Power Functions. Main reason why LPF suck are probably too restrictive overcurrent and overheat protections built into the Power Box brick. Unfortunately I don't have plans of making instructions for motorizing this model.

Easiest way of dealing with it is contacting LEGO and agree on sending their shit back to them.

I don't know. I own only this model from Cobi. I don't like it and won't buy more models from Cobi.

I don't recommend motorizing it because LEGO Power Box overload protection constantly steps in when driving and as a result everything works like shit.

Mostly LEGO Technic , well shit, I did. And I wished I could blow it to the fuckin moon, it was such a pain in the ass

RC Technics Channel :)

Power box has overload protection which prevents motors from burning. In addition LEGO PF motors are 12V motors running on 9V so it's hard to burn them. My M/L motors are used for steering and they were not burnt. In my MOCs I use more compact solution with LEGO rubber band: ruclips.net/video/6TdZTUOaBNM/видео.html
