14 weeks of recovery
On September 7, 2024, I broke my left elbow. The resulting two surgeries, with shoulder, wrist and finger problems on top, left me in a devastating state, from a musician's point of view. This video is part of my video diary to motivate myself during the recovery and to monitor my progress on the guitar.
All compisitions are my own.

Amazing lesson of courage Stephan! The inspiration is great! Go on! 👍👏👏👏🌞
Thank you, much appreciated! Yes, it is my hope that others get inspired who are in similar difficult situations...
😊😊😊
Très bien joué pour 14 semaines! 👏 abonné
@@SF_Production Merci beaucoup! Still so much to do 😅
Très beau et doux jeu ! Bravo et merci pour ce très joli moment musical 👍
Merci beaucoup! I'm getting better, but it's a long journey...
Hi I just read the description to this video and I have to say you’re doing great! I experienced a similar scenario back in 2014 I broke my left arm , ulna and radius, (oh, the pain!) the physiotherapists gave me all kinds of exercises and I decided to get back to guitar which I hadn’t played for many years just at first purely for exercise. It took me nearly 2 years to be free of nagging little pains and I’m convinced the guitar was the best medicine. So in a way I’m glad now that I broke the arm ha ha! Keep playing! ✌️😊
Thank you! Quite a story, thanks for sharing! It's good to look for something positive to emerge from things like this. I'm working on publishing some stuff I was sitting on far too long. And record it as an excercise 😉
Incredible progress, my friend! 😀😀😀
Thank you, still hurtful e.g. in the first position, but I see progress, too. 😅 Tried a couple of pieces that wouldn't work yet, but I'll get them later in the month.
🙏🙏🙏
Much appreciated!
After doing both rotator cuffs and not being able to place the guitar on my lap and under my arm and both hands for carpal tunnel I feel your pain, Stay at it the love for playing seems to overcome those painful obstacles. Keep at it, it gets easier every day!!
Thank you! Yes, love for playing gets me through the pain, indeed. Made good progress in only two weeks, still plenty of work, though...
good luck bro
