@grandoldone2552 Where would I have possibly have learned that? Seems like such an arbitrary change from the previous games where you can parry any attack from a human sized opponent. Really doesn't help DS3's case when people keep declaring it the best in the Souls trilogy.

@@HeroSword_P No, that hammer is slow. That's why these heavy weapons are terrible at PVP. Straight Swords are top tier. A fast weapon can easily punish a heavy weapon.

it's something they haven't done before? You can see they're having fun w it, a chaos tempest as the last hit is heckin scary. Those coulda missed, that or my luck w that pyro is garbo. A challenge doesn't have to be something thats Uber hard it could just be a restriction.

@nikolaimironov3446 It's not objectively easier? Many spells are slow as heck and easily get interrupted by the boss's attacks. The only reason I made it look easy was because I've mastered this boss fight years ago and can adjust. The "being proud" thing is just me being cheeky, I used an old school smiley :) for Christ's sake lol

@@seigmyrethegamer4584 It was Chaos Storm, and the stupid thing only hit with one geyser, the killing blow was due to a lava puddle.

@Morpheel4ever Because they use their left fin arms, you need to dodge towards your left. More accurately, run to their left side and they'll dash forward and miss you completely.

LOL true! While I forgot about Repair Powder during this fight, I just thought it honestly wasn't necessary in general since I strive to finish an area without breaking a single weapon, I typically would just switch to a secondary weapon once my primary weapon was at 1 or 2 Durability.

Well, with Cloranthy + Grass Crest it's enough. Also there's plenty of time to buff once you've dropped down to the abyss. The first King will spawn in like 5 seconds, so you can save like a couple of seconds of PW. Probably doesn't really make a difference tho😅

Lloyd's Talismans are a valid tactic since hosts have more heals 🤨and I never claimed to engage in "no healing" duels anyway, I let my opponent use any tactic because I do too.

@Veh28 lol yeah 😂 it has ridiculous reach and range, the only challenge is catching opponents while they roll.

@lonearachnid6591 But if you do that you'll have to run through the darkwraiths and the ghost house and possibly the mass of souls. While my runback may not be objectively the fastest it does feature almost no enemies to deal with.

@@lonearachnid6591 That's why I included two timestamps lol, it all depends on whether you just wanna beat the boss alone or do it with a summon and deal with extra enemies.

I've never heard of this, no wikis say that these two rings don't work together.

@@HeroSword_P Me neither, it's just that when I played the game I tried using both rings but could only see a single activation icon and only one of the 2 colored auras so I was under the impression that you could only use one at a time. That's why I was surprised. I might need to test this further, although it shouldn't be too difficult. Once i have more conclusive data I'll come back to this.

@@HeroSword_P Howdy, I'm back from testing, really I just got into range, equipped 1 ring, and then hovered over the second one while looking at the stats in the menu to see if they would turn blue, and they did. Then after equipping it checked that the relevant stat did change and was surprised to see that I was under the wrong impression all along. Cool to learn something new, I wouldn't have thought of this if not for your video, so thank you very much 😁

If the developers didn't want you invading low level areas then they wouldn't put Cracked Red Eye Orbs in every game's first area.
