Mike Makes Too Many Developments
I started developing film in my last video, and now I have been developing my film, my friend's film, and even my mom's wedding film. It's been a learning process, one that I really enjoy and find to be like meditation. But I recently got so much film that I thought it would be interesting to see how many developments I could comfortably get out of Ceniestill's Color Simplified C-41 chemistry. I got to 23 before I didn't want to risk any more film. Cinestill says you can get around 20 rolls, but I am used to getting about 16 rolls before noticing the chem going bad. Seeing how much you can do when the chemistry is fresh was interesting. Next time I may shoot for 30.

Mike Makes a Development

It's 2023, and I thought it was time to take responsibility and develop my own film! So I shot a roll of Kodak Portra 400 since I knew what to expect from the film. Enjoy me developing my first roll of film, and don't hate me too hard if I'm doing things wrong. I used the Cinestill Starter Kit: cinestillfilm.com/collections/laboratory-supplies/products/start-kit-cyber-monday-color-cs-temperatur...
1600 ft Climb in the Midwest
Просмотров 5542 года назад
When I worked at a news station, the transmitter needed its bulbs changed out. I wanted to make sure the climb was captured. So while I am not the one wearing the GoPro, it is my GoPro. The transmitter, when built, was the tallest structure east of the Mississippi, or so I was told. Of course, there are much taller buildings now, but it is crazy to think a small midwest town in Wisconsin had th...

I started The Negative Rescue Project in April of 2021, and I thought it was time to make a video about it. Aerochrome Summer
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.3 года назад
I thought it would be fun to awkwardly get in front of the camera and share my experience with a rare film called Aerochrome for my birthday. Aerochrome is a unique, rare, infrared film that shifts greens to red. I traveled to Wisconsin Rapids, Wausau, Neillsville, and took the rest of the shots in La Crosse. I wanted to see how the film would do in various amounts of sunlight. The best results...
It's incredible that (apparently) the Wisconsin Historical Society turned down your offer; or considering Kron was a local, the Milwaukee County Historical Society or Milwaukee Public Library.
Wow that’s a cool ass house. Minus the meth
And dog was “sleeping” in the bedroom floor…poor dog..😢 Many people live like this, without drugs…i was in many place…they dont care of life, do the minimum for living, and wait until the end…most of them introvert smart people..❤❤❤
you think if all dope was legal, this would still be going on?
Tweekers love mountain dew and gummy worms
Is that a dog.. is he alive??? 2:34
Hey! Looks like my childhood home!
There’s a dead dog 🐕 just lying there next to the bed
All that energy and a filthy house, that poor baby
Did you just use one roll for all those shots?
@JoeNick-ph3rz yes! I used 1 roll of Lomochrome Color 92. I did use a roll of Kodak 200, but it was without a tripod, so the results were really bad. My goal with this was to use it as a film video camera. I know others have used it at a slower pace and like the shaky frame look of hand holding it.
This is the smoothest i have seen this camera
@Sludge_Inc it took a bit a work to do it!
@@MikeMakes how did you accomplish this? Almost everyone else’s footage looks terrible.
@Sludge_Inc it was on a tripod. I then manually lined up all my scans based on whatever was in the center. I also added a stabilizer during the editing.
Id rather the cops bust meth labs instead of cannabis grow ops
Beautiful
@@brooketaylor808 thank you! It's a great spot.
Yo dawgie dont act like you didnt just use the minolta font for a nishika vid! Lol is yours a pos too? My nishika is so unreliable. I call itbthe worst cam EVER in one of my vids
Mine is pretty bad, but it works 90% of the time. The only real issue is the sticky shutter release button. I bought mine unopened in the original packaging so I thought it would be good even if it was from the 80s.
Don’t forget the mold wear a mask it’s safer
Luckily, the building has no mold. But now it is undergoing renovations, and I wouldn't want people breathing in anything that might get kicked up. So there are no more shoots until after the reno.
Well that's super neat. Love the parallax gif shots.
There is another camera with a lot more lenses that I hope to try in the near future.
imagine having to spend ur childhood in a house like this. that would really meth you up. those children are the real victims here.
Imagine if this video was a house showing:
Drunk people are the best subjects for this camera by far! I love my Nishika, so please don't get mad if you see my video calling it the WORST film camera. Great shots subbed!
It's a pretty rough camera. Half the time, it doesn't take the shot and wastes the film, so I understand.
@@MikeMakes not to mention the overlapping frames lol
@@nicklopro luckily I have not had the over lapping frame.
@@MikeMakes lucky duck! It always happens on the best ones for me. Rendering them useless
TUCKEER!!
This is cool thanks for sharing :) I’ve been shooting film since learning to do it in college but only developed my own in the school red rooms
I shot film back in high school but then my college shut down their darkroom the year I started. I'm glad I got back into it. I have a ridiculous amount of cameras and gear now that the older generation just gave me. I hope to have a full dark room soon!
That's a FILTHY SCHOOL😮
It use to be a school but was converted into a house.
I feel so bad for that puppy
The living conditions the poor children had to endure 🤬😭
WTF dead doggie :(
There was a dog laying down on the floor next to the bed not moving 😮!.
Meth addicts sweat garbage, its so odd. Even walking down the street they leave a trail of garbage behind them, and turn any place into a landfill. Can take and make meth, but are allergic to birth control!
Why did you warn Scott that you were filming?? Us he known to do things he shouldn't
What a wonderful house and tenants.
Damn that's actually a really nice house ngl
A camera system..,.night vision. Like ones sold in Walmart and everywhere else. OMG everyone with a camera must be doing the same thing.😂
Ah takes me back to my childhood
What about that dog laying in the room??
Never do the drugs that you're making and selling
Shouldn't the guy cleaning up at least wear rubber gloves?
What a mess
A nice house with a tent in the yard. If that doesn't scream "meth house", I don't know what does
That house is methed up.😂
Was that dog dead that was laying downstairs?
Is pepsi an ingredient in meth?
is that a dead dog
Nice video Mike! I’m thinking about getting one. How did you like it? Did you shoot on a tripod to get it so steady?
It definitely requires a tripod to get anything somewhat stable. I scanned and realigned everything in post as well and cropped the edges to make it more smooth, too.
Shit was nicer than my building
When the parents decide they want to sell drugs instead of working to make a decent living, they cross a line and this is the result of being on the other side of the line, them poor children, a lot of you are thinking these parents should have never had children, but then these kids would have never been born, they might grow up to be some of the most amazing people we have on this planet 😉
There was a dog lying on the ground in the bedroom omg
“Hello MTV welcome to my crib!” The crib:
Coming through with a camera 📷 😅
free uncle fester
School?! WTF
2:36 is that a dog? if so is it a dead dog?
looks like it sadly
cops shoot dogs during a bust pretty much every single time. any slightly big dog, in their eyes is a threat, along with most every other living creature in the house.@@ridgidknight6597
Why warn the other cop that your camera is on? Worried about something? Running cameras AND audio should be mandatory the moment an officer goes on duty, and while we're at it it should be mandatoraly uploaded to a PUBLIC site for oversight.
i was sus'd out at that too. cops are all like: "we investigated ourselves and found no wrong doing." they're almost all in 'secret brotherhoods' aswell, protecting each other. the state's monopoly on violence and force makes me sick. we are all just numbers and means to an end for them.
@@TannuWannu You are absolutely right. I usually prefer to call them overseers, who enforce the wishes and will of their wealthy pay masters. They are certainly not there to protect and serve the public.
at the VERY least, that is the level of indifferent evil we are dealing with. well said. in my belief, even more so. like 'subjectors', keeping status quo and maintaining pacification of potential free-doers by direct threat of death by violence or lifelong felonship, they are the cog that keeps the rotten and corrupt wheels of this suffering-harvesting factory going. I'm truly starting to believe this world is run by actual 'demons' that feed on suffering, and those creatures' influences touch every aspect of modern life. the low rank and file overseers are just one more tool of them, to be used and disposed of when needed. i would venture that most cops are 'Satanists'. i mean.. they brand themselves with a pentagram. (along with almost every single country in the world) and like i said, it's a fact that MOST cops are in fact, 'masons'. which are supposedly Anti-Jesus as a written rule. funny. and the dog and pony comedy destractions we are told to call politics.. evil, all the way up in places of power. it would be an amazing design by God- to test us. can someone be good in a bad world? it's the only way to justify this madhouse of a world, personally. @@RDeschain3337
