After more than 20 years watch anime, CLANNAD is the best until now... And it's always my recomendation to newcomer... BUT, PREPARE TISSUE when you watch it. Especially last episode of arc in S1 and all episode of After Story... Two my best list until now only CLANNAD (S1-S2) and ANGEL BEATS.

I cry like 4 times watching afterstory every single time.

I usually am not a graphics first guy, I watched dozens of anime that I didn't like visually but clannad.... The eyes man, I just cannot. I tried 3 times because of the sheer amount of friends and colleagues recommending it

its like after luffy lost all his crewmates in sabaody and finally reunited to continue the journey. you can see how much they grow as a crew and their trust and bonds become more stronger

wish id just erase my memory on this anime and watch it all over again its really good the only romance that i really liked rewatched it like 8-7 times

So, you're telling me that an anime named after an Irish band because the author misunderstood what "Clannad" meant is actually really good? I wish it was on Crunchyroll. Maybe I'll get a 7-day trial to HIDIVE and just binge it.

yeah thats what i been saying people who complain he is impossibly dumb lack the context of the anime. every turn he take the logic answer is he is weak. in this world you can't see level all that matter is the skill you have and he only has one usefull skill. parry. he is told this is the benchmark and NEVER improve on that. when back to the town the guild master constantly tell him he is massively weak treating him like a toddler without any kind of test. first time slaying goblin? he never saw one but he know there are weak. he almost die and the only person who could have told him how dangerous the goblin emperor was just noded and smiled. the dragon submitted at the same time the beast tamer show up. with the spear guy the first attack noor took seriously almost beheaded him. the only thing that made me mad was that thing with the assassin guy. that was badly executed and the guy obviously wanted to kill him or the kid.

This came as a surprise to me as well. I am isekai fatigue and want an ossan main character in which this delivered. I hope we get to see more of this!

It was so dumb, but also surprisingly funny. You'd think the gag of him parrying everything would get old, but it just keeps being funny. I feel like if the MC wasn't just unbearably dense, this would have been a fairly popular series.
