@@CountryRimfire it's been windy most of the year here so far just haven't had any decent summer weather im down in Cornwall UK the coast is about 10 miles away both sides of me. That Winchester has been working very well for but not in quite as much wind guessing I've had over 200 rabbits and five fox's at night but I do have a range finder built into my terminal. Id say the Winchester was around 4 inches definitely to far in that wind but on still nights I've had them as far out as 127 meters.

It calms down at night here also ... isn't that weird? I'm across the planet from you, and I think most everyone is getting crazy wind this year. @@sid35gb I did take it off, I use dovetail mounts so I had to. It's aluminium. You know, metal.

@@freedomdoodi try day at the range you can download the target there plus many more. We shoot the target at 50 yards or meters with 22 rim fire and 25y/m with air guns hope this helps

@@CountryRimfire Lynne and me where up the range today it's one of those places if the winds in the wrong direction it just goes around and around Lynne managed a 78 which I thought was very good in the wind and I spent the day trying to tune special match think 35 is the magic number 🫣 Just testing my dope and turner setting for sk match at 200 m managed the kyl in 27 so think that's good to go 🤞

Was sure hoping for a different outcome. Just loading a video on how I set my tuner up the sk lrm was hammering in that with and without the tuner

@@CountryRimfire was on my anschutz 1710 XLR. Now I've a good chronograph going to retest with sk long range as may have been set wrong will be looking to keep the higher and lower velocity shots together 🤞

@@CountryRimfire when I do the re test will a proper video as you can see how it all comes together. Did the other evening with sk match and you see the fast rounds hitting lower

I did see that Elijah was wondering the same about shipping though it only to grab a couple of boxes to test this Will a proper video chronograph figures at 50 m will also put the tuner on if it looks promising. Part 2 will be at 100 or 200 kyl (50 yard)

Yes I had the same problem, they really are shit, when the scope is clamped down ya can move the scope and rail about, FLEXING, the only way around the problem is ta get eagle vision pictinny mount rock solid, also can I ask why your cabinets are raised of the floor.

@@glennbaxter2597 had a feeling there could be electric cables under the surface as there's a couple of blanking covers

@@glennbaxter2597the eagle vision mounts are a waste of time too many grub screws to fall out and the majority of scope rings are weaver/picatinny so never a correct fit in the grooves. The bottom line is the whole set up is flawed because you’re bolting a scope into rings,clamped to a rail that’s bolted to the action it’s unnecessary and adding a failure point. Keep it simple.

Was shooting though tall grass so probably didn't help 🤣 but it does feel like cheating
