I had the same comment from someone else. Personally I don’t think you will have an organic chemistry practical in paper 3. This is almost confirmed by the fact that purifying topic came up in paper 2. However, I would be careful and wouldn’t exclude it entirely, if they asked about recrystallisation in paper 2, for example, they may ask about distillation in paper 3. Unlikely but possible.

If there is an organic practical in the exam, then there is a big possibility they might ask about purifying organic molecules. Any specific point you were asked about in paper 2 will not be in paper 3. Personally, I don’t think you will get an organic practical this year, but you never know.

You don’t need to stress yourself. Focus on the practical skills and make sure you know your equations for calculation questions. You can exclude the two practicals that came up last year. Any topic that was heavily covered in paper 1 and 2 can be excluded for now as well. All the best in your exam tomorrow.

We're in the same boat but trust me it'll be fine- I should really be taking my own words being honestly chemistry and all my A-level have been... Questionable but we will both do great. If you want a suggestion on wear to start I found it helpful to just do multiple choice questions and that already highlighted the bits I wasn't great at. In terms of practicals try chem revise

No problem. These are predicted based on past papers. You can never know what exactly will be there but some questions are either repeated using different wording in every single exam and others are predicted based on the fact that the haven't been used for few years. Don't just depend on anyone's prediction, just use it as a helping tool. Good luck!

Although it’s a biology question but I’ll answer it for you 😊 Fats are hydrolysed by lipases (enzymes that catalyse the hydrolysis) in adipose tissues in a process called lipolysis. Fatty acids and glycerol are then released into the blood stream. The FA reaches the liver or muscles where they are used to make AcetylcoA and then ATP which are the main source of energy in the body.
