Really good idea! Thank you for that. Yeah, to much work for me 🤣. Probably the same work as for mkcert + the costs as ngrok.
Its nice to see a yunger generation struggling with coding, basically in every company you first make website, then you make pwa, if it is nececarry than you create native via wrapper or true native. Kotlin, andoid studio etc... We have 3 scenarios basically "Do you need multiple platform as fast as possible?", then use pwa or flutter, "Do you create web first?" then go with web pwa later native, "Do you have a lot of resources?" then make vanilla web, true native ios and android app, native c# windows app. Ultimatly its about a cost. Do you hire 3 separate teams or just one with slightly poorer performance? If you really want to target all platforms with truly native experience oh boi its gonna cost you a lot. Most viable option that a lot of companies do is to just make pwa. Even if iPhone is vs pwa who gives a fuck about an iPhone. A lot of people use predominantly android and windows. And pwa still can be installed on iPhone so whats the catch. In my company we have quite an unique scenario, we create a fully functional webapp, then we do pwa. After some months when its without bugs we wrap it with ionic or vanilla cordova. If its data critical where we want it to be as secure as possible we always make separate app for admin in c#. Because every real program is not irl used on iPhone, predominantly its linux as in terminals and scanners we don't really give a fuck about iPhone. If you are developing some dating apps or something and do care about this people just go with flutter or wrapper.

You can, PWA = Progressive Web App That means that you can build your website (Web app) and enhance it with PWA features as you like. You can add the PWA features at any time you like.
Nice video and thank you for the tutorial. I started building a PWA with just vanilla js, css, html and firebase but quickly noticed that iOS doesn't allow some native features. What do you think about Cordova to wrap PWA's? Maybe you could add subtitles as its sometimes a little bit difficult to understand what you're saying!
Noticed. Thinking about the subtitles now. Means some extra work but I think it could be worth it.
One of the arguments to build a PWA was that you dont have to go through review processes of the app stores and dont have to pay fees to them. Because many people distribute their Cordova apps through app stores this benefit would be gone. But still a good option to cosider. But I think Capacitor is the successor to Cordova.

Internet, hard work. Basically just looked at companies that were hiring real devs and asked them if they would give me an internship.

Wow, you remind me of myself, I also started making websites at like 11. But you have way more opportunities having the pc and the internet I assume. I had to write html on my nokia phone with the numberpad or had to stay at school's computer room till the scool closes 😅 I never ever dreamed of finding a job at my small town
