Vlogging is really just visual storytelling. So it doesn’t matter what camera you use. I see a few comments about using a dslr or mirrorless rather then an action cam. To be honest you can even use you phone camera to vlog. That being said of course if you are keen on getting the best quality, then of course, go for larger sensors and specs. I’ve been using action cams for vlogs for a while now and for the reasons you mentioned in this video, my Action 4 is becoming my go to for visual storytelling on the go. Nice video. Well done.

what about the DJI MIC 2? surely the noise cancelling feature on there would eliminate the road/ladder noises. maybe put it up against the Rode mics?

Dude, I have filmed the almost exact same video about the same topic (for another channel, this is my private account) and started editing it, but I just stopped and I can't really get myself to finish it - and I don't know how to fix that. Also really insecure about my voice and speech, because English is not my native language. I wanna try to finish it, seeing that other struggle in the exact same way makes it a bit easier (especially your outtakes, 100% can relate🤣). Keep up the great work man!
