Then he scratched his arm because it was itchy, then the clock hand moved, then the traffic light outside turned red… we don’t need every little detail. Tell the story and get on with the point. Makes me wonder…Is this real…?

Man, he haunted them like the ghost of Christmas past😮😂. I don't know if it's a shame or justice that in 2024, that there is still a need to create stories like this to bring awareness to peoples humanity. What I am sure of, if we don't pull it together and act as though we are one race, the human race, it will all end abruptly because, I don't think this was GODS' intentions for us, when he created man.

The ending of this story easily well done. Appreciated the easy flow of the conversation once Rachel began her journey of self worth and putting into practice, not just as an observer-she began the practice of acknowledging herself and others. Inspired ending. I have had my personal challenges. In Rachel’s shoes, I probably would have written about it rather than venture out into a community center, although that avenue of experiential learning was appropriate for her.

Rachel wouldn’t have attempted career damage control wit Mr Holt, although her mind had concocted a scenario that may or may not have impacted her in her high-end circle, had she not felt that given her degrading evaluation of the owner of the restaurant whom she didn’t know, nor was aware of his status had not been overheard. He n the storyline, there seemed to be some scenario that was in-aligned. He got up to leave when Rachel confronted or attempted to offer an apology, then he g is greeted by the manager, and goes back to his dinner❗️ The sequence is a bit off, although the significance of the encounter, although reconstructed was valuable. People make assumptions based on prejudicial interpretations or learned behaviors. Thank you

I believe those who maintained racism are somewhat under cover! But they forget one important things we all end the same way regardless of status! 6 foot underground.
