@@amirrajablo3743 Sadly not in this specific build, but bow is a strong option when paired with maces and mobility with the pets! Just gotta watch out for projectile reflection (there is quite a lot out there)

Hey man! Short answer: we get much more from MM than BM, in both damage and defense departments. Full explanation here: In this build, BM offers better stats for your pet and yourself when merged (nothing crazy), More Ferocity And an extra 3 seconds od quickness when we swap pets and some might That's it. Unless you are using a Greatsword it doesnt offer too much, just damage. MM in this build offers practically the same damage but through different mechanics and in a more consistent way (Tested this propperly) and insane defensive tools. The idea is, thanks to the dinamic of the build we have tons of interrupts and our daze and stuns last longer, plus we have extra damage on our attacks after we stun or daze, which we always do. On top of that we deal increased damage to enemys on almost any cc, again you can see where this is going. AND to top it off whenever we use our elite skill, we take no damage from incoming attacks for a few seconds, we can run the pet that does the same for us and you can basically be immune to attack damage for a loong time. In the end BM offers just raw damage and MM gives same if not more damage, plus defenses and utility for the build.

@@Darkpirox BM offers cd reduction on pet skills, more power and ferocity, a % dmg modifier, quickness on pet swap and also grants move speed too, I get your points but BM is more than just a flat dmg mod

@@workingandcommenting Yes, i am well aware, maybe i should have explained better so thank you for complementing that!😄 But i didnt go over it because i just described what you get in comparison when you put everything in practice after many hours! And in practice, the 2 seconds of quickness on pet swap don't make a difference since we get plenty every time we slam and cc. And we running cavalier with movement speed plus other sources of mobility in the build too. So in comparison, and to this build specifically, BM its just damage and sadly, its not more than what you get in MM, well and the cdr on pet which its just not enough to justify it. It is sad because i used to run this with GS and BM, but after trying this other version out... Its night and day. Hopefully that clarifys it!

Thanks for pointing that out! They should be fixed now😄 Also I have experimented with different combinations on the weapons and the runes and some of them work better than others in certain matchups, but this combination overll gave me solid results! Feel free to experiment😊

@@Darkpirox well, I tried Soulbeast Hammer build, I realy have good feeling about that combination (maybe I am wrong), Idea was Jump in, Imobilize(crowd control) targets, few hard hits, run out and swap to bow.... I tried Blue Moa/wolf pets

@@dinotitlic9802 Hey man, sorry for the late reply, been slammed with work. I gave some thought and if you really want to make bow+hammer work you gotta change a few things for sure, specially because hammer is not at it's best in WvW for the Soulbeast. You gonna need mobility and stealth coming from the pets. So you want to use smokescale and White wolf, the white wolf will give you an extra stun, a pretty decent leap and a stunbreak with anti-damage for a few seconds. And i would play it differently. Aim to be sneaky with the bow and be ready with the hammer when they try to bonk you. I garantee you that its impossible to outrun anyone with those 2 weapons. But you can play the distance and then Melee when you cant escape. It is a worse version of Greatsword, you have more cc on hammer but you loose on damage and blocks, which are very important nowdays against willbenders and many more pesky things.

Hey man! My love for the soulbeast comes from the play-style and how adaptable it is. In my opinion Untamed has a few areas where it can be an absolute menace too but if i had to objectively say which one is best... I would say Overall to me Soulbeast seems more fluid and flexible, both in PvP and WvW. If i had to pick in my opinion a build where Untamed performs better... It would probably be Marauder Bruiser with dual maces and hammer, it is pretty broken. And yet still would preffer SB (personal choice).

Im just a SB fanboy xD Also the mandatory pet is smokescale, feel free to experiment with others. I like mobility and utility over another offensive pet but yeah, go with what you feel!

A pretty simple one! Pet stun into 2-5-2. That is the base combo, after you get used to it you can adapt it and mix things in between! Like for example... Pet stun into swap pet+f3 and then 2-(hold on a second cuz they always panick roll), 5-2. As long as you get used to the base combo, the more you play the more you can adapt it. But to this day i am still doing it consistently both in PvP and WvW. Most fights you want to quickly kill someone with sword but they use Defensive cd's and they try to kill you in return, that is when you want to swap to GS and pay atention to stability on the enemy. When they run out of it, its time to bonk.

Oh for sure brother! all the builds i make can be tweaked to own preference and play style! i also tested with marauder and Cavalier on gear for example, very nice option too. Thank you very much sir! It looks counter-intuitive but hear me out! I tested this throughly and the consistency of sharpened edges is really meh, even with high crit. However with primal reflexes i had a lot more consistence with dodges which are a very important part of the survival aspect of this build. Long story short: you barely feel having sharpened edges, if at all. I have never found myself thinking: aaah, damn i lacked a bit of damage or i wish i had sharpened edges. BUT the flow of the build is much much better with primal. A dead dps doesnt do damage🤣 You can go strider's strenght on 2 if you want for more synergy with those dodges and stack up some might.

The key is finding keybinds that work for you, that is number 1. Then its just patience. For example i struggled a lot until i started thinking in combos as oposed of every skill for every moment. Try to practice offensive and defensive combos for your builds and give yourself time! Thank you and dont give up brother!
