Puppy Jess loves her first experience of snow
We had our first winter snow in Wales on 9th November 2019. Our 13-week old pup Jess had never seen anything like it, but soon overcame her trepidation and made the most of it. She is a border collie/cocker spaniel cross - is that a cockie?

Bat, probably pipistrelle, flits about feeding at Pont Eunant at the far end of Lake Vyrnwy, Powys, UK. Taken at noon on 11 Nov 2016. Sunlight shines through the bat wings, making the animal look almost white. Edited video.

Possible hen harriers

This video was taken on 22/8/1999 at 930ft above sea level on the mid-Wales border with England. It shows a couple of birds, believed to be hen harriers, one of which makes a ground catch (vole maybe?) and feeds it to the other in mid-air. All other birds have gone quiet (apart from a cockerel!) and even two rooks huddle nervously.
I was there, and il never ever forget it, What a day 🌞🙏❤️

I vividly remembering encountering the Furthur Magic Bus in a narrow cornish lane; it must've been in 1999. Weirdly I can't remember now whether we got stuck behind it or in front of it!

This is great, thank you for posting! I was an exchange student at Univ of Swansea in the Winter/Spring of '99. Used to sit by that fountian. I went back to the US in June of that year, I never knew this happened! I had met Kesey and his bus three years earlier in his town of Veneta, Oregon... a day which changed my life. Nice to see these two memories come together!

Brilliant footage though. I was way too unorganised to film it so nice one. Remember the poster had England, Scotland and Ireland across the bottom but not Wales. Naughty. He asked me What I wanted him to write on it, I was like " I dunno just put ken Kasey for Adam. Funny didn't have anything cool to say in front of the big man.But like I said I did get up on stage at the performance they did and play theramin with him. We had a moment of connection. My claim to fame. Not on your footage though. Gutted!
Remember getting there late and coming across the bus by the fountain. They had put food dye in it .
