RAD! I've been building a LCOG Tj on tons and 40s for the last couple of years. A big issue I'm having is deciding if I should hard mount the body or not and the way your slider panels are what holds your body looks like it might solve it. I might have to steal that idea. Have you seen any stress cracks or bends on those slider panel bolts? And it looks like you kept your rear body mounts? Have you seen any weird stress around those too? If anyone is interested in seeing my build thread look up DJ's TJ: Low and Slow on TJWranglerforum
@@snowking171 it still has the two body mounts in the rear but it is hard mounted there with no rubber. This is the second season of wheeling with the body hard mounted and there isn’t any sheet metal cracking or issues with the bolts yet. So far, I wouldn’t hesitate to do it the same way over. The only issue I’ve had has been rocks getting hung up between the tubing that runs perpendicular from the frame to the slider. At some point I’d like to finish that tubing with steel and uhmw. I’ll have to check out your build!
That is BAD ASS!
Rad Jeep, needs a 4L/AX15 swap after the cage.
Super sweet TJ
Sick. Never seen spring sliders mounted on the front side of the rear axle.
aaaaaand subscribed. I need to sell videos of this thing wheelin'.
Clean. Would love to build my LJ like this.
Slick build
Looks good, but you only have like 2 inches of up-travel.
@@wvjeepguy8178 you are not wrong. I previously had it sitting 2-3” higher, with more up travel. For how I am using it, I much prefer how planted it feels now.
That’s clean
My favorite TJ on the TJ forum. Really unique and cool looking
C O O L
She crawls nice!
Looks great! Got any videos of it on the trail?
a few. Check out my other videos! ruclips.net/video/DiWlJ-xa7uc/видео.htmlsi=eTapdGTzaR1o95Fo
Love the simplicity, my 05 LJ was very low COG with 37's.
What’s your diff gear ratio and how does the 4cyl do power wise rolling the 39’s?
@@cordybrassfield4844 it is currently setup with 4.88 gears. It crawls well offroad in low range with the 5.0:1 Atlas transfer case. It doesn’t see the highway. Tooting around town the gearing is ok. If I drove it at highway speeds, 5.38 (or lower) gears would be ideal.
sweet little jeep !
@@SamMatter thanks Sam! It’s a whole lot of fun! I have been following your build videos on here. Your Jeep is awesome!
I love it. Fucking cruiser. I live in socal around a lot of dunes and some cool trails. This would make for a nice cruiser.
Would love to see how well it does/flex’s
@@russmurphy612 check out my other videos to see it crawl! ruclips.net/video/DiWlJ-xa7uc/видео.htmlsi=eTapdGTzaR1o95Fo
Nice build. Looks really good.
Seriously nice build, huge fan of the setup!!!
That’s a super clean build!!
Very nice and clean!! Impressive
I like it a lot(said like Jim Carrey). I don’t think you said is what gears you’re running? 5.38’s?
@@ElevatedJeeps thank you! It is currently setup with 4.88 gears. 5.38 (or lower) would be ideal.
This is exactly what I'd like my 06 LJ to be some day, curious what is the measurement from ground to the body at the door
@@jasontaylor9871 it is 17.5” to the bottom of the frame rail, 23.5” to the bottom of the rocker, and 28.2” to the bottom of the door
Super clean and super simple. Nicely built Jeep. I dig it!

Do you have an instagram?
@@zosqq Yep! Same name on there too.
What trail is this? What year Jeep? Looks like a awesome build / combo
Thank you! The Jeep is a 4 cylinder ‘98 TJ. It has stock springs in the front and Cherokee leaf springs in the rear with about 103” wheelbase, bald 39” stickies, some polished dana 44s, and an atlas transfer case. The trail is Big and Little Johnson at Frontenac Farms near lake city Minnesota.
