I know how do this, I was asking to edit only one side of a hairstyle by increasing or decreasing the shape. I think you can do this with max3ds program. Anyways i appreciate that you took time to do this for others. Im really looking forward to your Bacterian mod
Just turn off mirror for sculpt mode and than you can edit only one side...

In the material tab on the right menu...Dont get me wrong but for this kind of information that are pretty much basics it might be best for you take a look of some beginner blender tutorials

How do you mean edit,Edit what on them?
Majestic Basically moving the shape of the hair. Cropping parts of the hair to be larger., some parts to be smaller.

Can you show us how you edit cac/vanilla hairstyles? Like I use sculpt mode, but it sucks. I get plenty of bald spots on the characters. No idea how to use edit mode.
