Thanks for the sub. I realised after posting our last video that all i did on it was moan about dog muck and litter lol. Benidorm is fantastic and not just about pissed up Brits. I did loads of videos in Canada/USA when we worked over there, but most of the footage was too shakey to use. I also did lots of short clips when we worked in France so might add them here at some point. Subbed back, take it easy. Mick and Cath.

@@ourturnnow LOL …….I think I heard you mention the guys channel By the Curb, well recently He was saying on one video that he had been moaning a bit in his videos ……lol …..Well it’s easy to do, especially if you’re filming in places anywhere in the U.K. He was also saying or referring to wanting to get away from filming in places that had lots of shops closed down, because it makes for a negative kind of video. I get where he’s coming from, but it can be tricky to do that. I run over to Macclesfield yesterday, did a little bit of filming but I started moaning about shops closedown ……lol So I deleted that film. 🙃 I guess their really is a knack to filming is ya gonna talk because being negative is not going to draw in Subs and Viewers. I have a Lot of walking videos of Buxton ……where I originally come from, and of Bakewell but I was moaning in those a lot about different things …… so I deleted all those and now have just been putting Shorts on. I don’t know if you’ve seen the guys channel Gimble Walks TV …… he walks and film but doesn’t say Anything. Maybe that’s the best way to go for me ….. or Duck Tape my mouth up 😆 …..lol Well to be honest I really do thing I would be a lot more upbeat and Positive about filming in places like the South of France, Spain, and Definitely in America …….used to live in West Virginia for 8 years …….didn’t have a camera or do any filming for RUclips in those days though. The MacMaster ….. has videos out right now of America, I really like his channel ……recently got one of his T shirts. I love the channel ……Geoff Carter ……he’s a funny guy, he’s filmed with The MacMaster in Benidorm. I’ll check out your other videos of Benidorm because wow was that really interesting last night, and that’s a thing also …… how on earth can anyone do a Silent video and tell people about the Fantastic deal you and your wife got on the Tapas & bottle of wine 🍷 ……. Wow that was a fantastic deal! I’ve seen lots of these guys on RUclips recently in Benidorm talking about Tapas, but none of them have shown that restaurant/bar. 🤷‍♂️ Have great weekend 👍

@@ourturnnow Sorry about my long reply mate, I need to get a grip on those too ……LOL I was just reading your information, I didn’t realise you had recently sold up Etc in the U.K. Really interesting that you moved to Alicante …… I was watching a few videos on other channels of it recently ……I had No clue but was so nice. Don’t know if you’ve heard of …..Buy me a Coffee, but you should Google it. It enables your channel to take Tips for a Coffee, or a Beer Etc ……Obviously you guys spend it on what you want. I would Definitely tip your channel like I’ve done with others, because obviously that Supports channels and in my opinion needs to be because these days Only RUclips videos are worth watching …….Regular TV is BS! If channels have …..Buy me a Coffee & PayPal Etc it enables people to Tip their channels, it help’s support things. I’ll be putting them on my channel when Ive got more interesting content filmed. I think with Super Thanks that RUclips has, the channel needs 1000 Subs. But I have tipped a few channels on RUclips that has Super Thanks …… I think we All need to get into a habit of doing that.

@@YanksandBritsProductions lol, @bythecurb did mention about moaning, and like him I'd like to do a review of my home town, Bradford, but I think I'd probably not be able to avoid the negative aspects, so it will have to wait for a while. We've also seen the @macmaster, who has great quality, not just action cam footage, so I'll start to use my own dslr more often for video to get the quality up a bit. We watched our latest video back and it seems quite boring to us, but I'm not going to delete it as I usually save everything on hard drives anyway. What we're you doing in Virginia? We passed through a couple of times and remember the vast forests. Take care, and get out and film something (easy for me to say, lol)

I read your info and I think you live in Alicante, omg that place looks gorgeous. I was married to an American, she is from West Virginia. I lived in Wheeling for 8 years, it’s in the northern pan handle of West Virginia. I’d say it’s about 1 hour 20 minutes from Pittsburgh, PA I love the states and the American people ….. shame about your videos of America, I would have loved to have seen those. I’ve gone to a few different local places and forgot back up batteries 🙄🙃🙄🙃🤓 I’ve recently got one of those DJI Osmo Action 4, I like it …… I’ve only been used to filming on the IPhone 8 Plus before, now I can have a little bit of music in my left ear as I film …… I like that ….. it kinda inspires me and keeps my mind of Negative crap …..lol I wonder if you are Subbed to the guy Gimble Walks TV ……reason I ask is because he filmed in Benidorm a few months ago, he’s got at least 2 or 3 videos from about 5 months ago on RUclips. The reason I mention him is because I wonder How he got the shots that he got. It was sooo strange, the only thing I could think of is, His Gimbal maybe a Motorised Gimble and it goes up and down. If you saw the footage of him walking around the Old Town, andddd on Lavantee Beech you know what I mean. I kid you not ……. Virtually Everyone he passed looked up at his camera, I thought to myself Why on earth is Everyone looking at his camera 🤔 Then I thought it’s because it’s Up in the Air, buttt then it comes back down to around Chest hight …… I thought Wow that is so strange. I thought I’m sure he’s not raising it up by his Arm, be extending his arm …… loads of people we’re looking up at the camera and waiving. The only thing I could think of is that his Gimbal must be motorised and can move up and down. I have seen a Reflection of him in one of his videos and his Gimble does look Unusual compared to the gimble I used to have. I’m guessing it must be like a Pole and is Motorised …… can go up and down …… because it looks Very smooth when the shot goes from Above Head level back to chest height. The Rod (Selfi Stick) that came with my DJI camera could film similar footage, but people would see it has I extended the Selfi stick ……his footage is really smooth. Hope you get what I’m saying. I should send you a link to his video. 👍

Hi Martin, We are not big drinkers and eat out very little in the UK and we do intend to reign in our spending when we retire over there. Our personal experience in this video is really showing what will probably be our final long winter break and we realise it's not typical for everyone. When we retire to Spain our outgoings should be less than yours as we have a small apartment and will only have one vehicle. We will be looking at the discount holidays as well!

I agree, a great place to drive. We worked in France for four summers and loved the place. Hopefully in 2025 we will do a long tour over there depending on finances.

Hi John, Flunch is not normally on a high street, it's normally in some kind of shopping centre. Just Google to see where the nearest to where you are is . It is self service, you pay for your main meal at the till but take a tray and help yourself to a drink and dessert if you want one then go to the till and pay, then go to the meat station and hand your ticket in, then they serve you and then go to the veg station where you help yourself. They have free water fountains, so no need to buy the (expensive) bottled water. Also they undercook burgers, so if you like them we'll done just ask.

Hi Robert we looked for a table , Cath sat down and I went to the bar and chose the tapas and ordered the drinks and paid then I took the food and drink to our table. Hope this helps 🙂

The cheapest diesel was around 1.74 a litre and the cafe is a chain called Flunch.

Glad you enjoyed it. We debate about how much to show from the front camera in case it's too boring, then we end up just speeding it all up. None of the roads were a problem on our run up but we did ignore a couple of instuctions from the google sat nav which would have taken us down a couple of narrow 'short cuts'.

Cheap and lithium don't go together, so i'm still looking.
