Can the 25 sound files (Paul Chetter recordings) be reblown onto the Zimo decoder of the new Bachmann class 25?

Just bought a Hornby Tornado. Will be putting a DIgitrains chip in it - I am impressed.

Is the Digitrax Zephyr DCS50 capable of programming the new Tsunami2 decoders? My unit works fine with my other DCC locos but I can't seem to program the Tsunami2. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Question. I have the older Zephyr DCS50. I run all my Locos on DCC and they work fine. However I just purchased an Athearn SD90 with Tsunami2 decoder installed. I can't get it to program. Is my old Zephyr just not up to the new DCC decoders? r

Sounds good from what I can tell, but its quite hard to tell without before and afters and also via video in general. Whats the main difference from the original? Louder? More bass?

Is this really all you need to operate a layout (with a suitable power supply to the unit, of course!) at 5A? I'm just setting up a new, small O gauge layout running locos like a Heljan Class 31 and a Dapol Terrier and am looking to do it as economically possible. I already have those two locos and their respective sound decoders (both bought from and re-functioned by you!) and do I really just need a WDMI-27 5A, 5A power supply and the app on my iPhone to get it all running?

Thanks to this video, I was able to fit the same capacitors into my own hawthorne leslie and get my own stay alive working. It was incredibly difficult to do (WHY DID THEY PUT A TINY RESISTOR RIGHT NEXT TO THE POSITVE PAD ON THE DECODER AHHHH!!!), but now that its done Im getting a solid 5+ seconds of run time when it loses power to the tracks, which is more than enough to stop it stalling on points and during micro power losses from the track. Im very happy.

I reckon a course on "driving" would go down a storm. Particularly for folk like me who don't really understand what the sounds are and why/when they are made.

It sounds very realistic. It's just a shame that I'm not in a position to change some 60-odd locomotives over to DCC, when quite a few of them are kit built and have live chassis. It would be nice if manufacturers of DCC chips could come up with a way of overcoming this problem. There you go Digitrains, try and find a solution for that and I'm sure that you will be very popular!, Lawrence.

Iv'e always wanted to try this soundfile, but the horns are just wrong for a 25/2 and /3. And I don't have a /1!

I have just got my DCS52 this morning in New Zealand. I tried a few loco with the controller and found they go the wrong way as shown on the controls Forward goes reverse/ Reverse goes forward. yours J F N

This is brilliant . Tho I am only on DC controller power and most likely won’t change in the coming to be future . Tho ither way great job on this sound stuff

Dim the lights in the discs and you’re starting to get there. They were never bright.

I have a real problem my power cab is showing con where it show loc this happens when I select loc 3 and nothing happens ? if I select loc long number it works can I reset the hand set in any way . or do I send it some where to get this repaired hoping you can help Paul

Sorry, you have to change your title. You were not the "world first", but second. The Tramfabriek was two days ahead of you and have released a video on Saturday with the model installed with sound and stayalive.
