I remember my mom and grandma watching this, days of our lives and young & the restless when I was a kid in the 80’s/ 90’s.

I used to watch this. I cannot remember who sang this. I’m thinking it’s Chrystal Gayle and I can remember the male singer. I remember Morgan Freeman, Ray Liotta and Anne Heche from that show

I love seeing this. I know I may be 33 years old. But there is something relatable, and fun, to watching some of these shows. It’s not just for kids. It almost puts a tear in my eye, seeing some of these actors doing the characters voices. It’s in some weird way… magical. I don’t care if that’s cheesy or silly. I also love how much alike these voice actors are, to the normal selves. Cricket… wow… if he doesn’t look just like the man voicing his character. That is so cool! And the dad, cmon now! Also looks just like him. I love this cast. This show. And I am appreciative for the magical and fun escape from my hard reality that it brings. Thank you for sharing

I was hooked on Another World when I was a kid! always was my favorite soap! well, thst and Days Of Our Lives!

This was second favorite Soap Opera. Santa Barbara was my absolute favorite.

I had a giant crush on Matt Crane.

My sister sent me this video and it quickly reminded me of when I used to tape this and other soaps on VHS for my sister and her friends to watch and catch up on during the weekends. I was the only one that knew how to properly work the VCR. I personally think that there needs to be an all soap opera streaming service with old episodes. The companies that hold all of the videotape libraries need to get them back out there and I know for a fact it would generate a ton of money.

Thanks for putting this together. It brings me back to my teens/college days when I'd either tape it or run back from class to watch with friends.

I remember some of these intros. I used to watch this, Days of Our Lives and General Hospital, when I was really young. That's only because I got home from nursery school and kindergarten, and I watched these with my mom. Man, I miss the late 80s and early 90s.

This song is stuck in my head from my childhood as my mom watched and the enduring visual is that of Anne Heche. I don't remember much about her characters, but I certainly remember her and her as featured in this opening sequence.

This makes me miss the Soap Opera Network so much! My grandma and I would watch this and GH on the network all of the time!

Mom's 2 soaps were Days and another world. I was sad when they canceled AW. I did watch the replacement passions, but felt it was too copycat with real headlines.

Awesome. Ironically ATV used the same music during 80's and the final showing the map and logo.

Brings back a log of memories. My sister and l started watching this during our summer break in 1987 and got hooked for the next few years until the stories got a bit bland.

Back when all three of the major networks had soaps that viewers can have a choice of watching NBC: Days of our Lives, Santa Barbara, Another World CBS: Young and the Restless, Bold and the Beautiful, As the World Turns and Guiding Light. ABC: All my Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital Not sure if I missing any soaps, but now it's pure talk shows(The Talk, Drew Barrymore, Kelly Clarkson, etc), reality, and game shows(family feud etc.) that are occupying the afternoon time slots that the soaps used to air. I believe Y&R, B&B, and General Hospital are the only soaps left airing. Really sad for fans of afternoon soap operas.

God I loved watching that show. Rachel and Mac were an awesome couple. Oh and miss Felicia Gallant and her outfits.

They had this on the TV in my daycare during our naptime (other days, it was CBS' soaps).
