    This here HELPED ME EXPOSE A SCAM , a well known brand that sells "natural" silk pillow case scammed my ass , truely the owner did say its mullberry silk 18 momme and had a certificate so it was really convincing the pillow cases sold for a high price a luxury item indeed , when i received the pillowcases in white shimmering and cloud like feeling i was ecstatic i thanked the owner of the brand by sending them the pic of tve received product it was truely well sewn and everything was well made not gonna lie visually a great natual silk , but idk why i was sceptical over how would i figure out if its true natural silk or not , i searched on RUclips and came upon many explanations over what is satin what is silk and then SYNTHETICAL SILK (which is polyster literally plastic sewn in satin pattern to make it seem like satin or silk ) then i couldnt sleep with the new information i took the expensive pillow case cut a small part carefully not to damage the whole thing and started the burning test AND THEN I FIND THOSE UGLY BLACK GLUE LIKE DOTS hard to crush plastic like I WAS LIVID , wth this wasnt natural silk , it was synthetic silk i was mad i contacted the owner and explained the whole thing she said i was "crazy to do so" that she sell natural authentic silk and i damaged the pillow case so there is nothing she can do for me , i told her about diffrence between natural and synthetic silk and told her shes scamming ppl and last thing i know i was blocked or something bc i couldn't find her anymore and i didnt care anymore , now the pillow case is among others that i change regularly and i dont care about , fast forward i was scrolling when i found a small buisness brand unknown with just a young girl in her 20's sewing pillow cases and sleeping masks and charlottes and things like that a NATURAL SILK cocooning pack with pillow case sleeping masks ..... etc and hear me out the pack include a free fabric patch burning test , when i read burning test i contacted her and did order 😅, and when i did the burning test it was as the video explained burning hair smell , black powder burning leftover , the shine was shimmery with no white shine more sheen instead of satin shine it has white shining lines , all i could say it was authentic, but as you know i started doubting again the patch was a small fabric patch so i went to the sleeping mask cut a small piece and burned it to make sure she used the same fabric in everything everything 🥸 , well after burning many small cuts i was satisfied and gave her my feedback , i commented on her page about how X brand scammed me while this one here didnt , i mean this burning test here is a life saver imagine thinking you're using natural silk with all it immense benefits on skin and hair only to find out its plastic , no benefit its sweaty its harmful and its expensive for no reason and worst part is that you take your pillow case with you thinking its luxury item while its not , i wont forgive that brand for scamming so many people i hope karma will hit them hard enough , and god bless the 2nd brand that restored my faith

    Well done! I bought a whole lot of '100% cotton' vests. Somehow they were making me itchy, so I used your video to try and ascertain whether they were indeed 100%.cotton. My only question now is how would I know if it is cotton or bamboo viscose?? Please help! Thank you!

    • @icedteacatfish
      @icedteacatfish 16 часов назад

      i find viscose can be made into a few different textures depending on the density, weave, or mixing other fibers. thin 100% viscose is somewhere between silk and linen I think, but through mixing with cotton it can become like denim or flannel.

    doesnt really help if you try to deternine how much % of this or that a fabric might have. I got a mysterious fabric thats 100% polyester that I cant find in any store anymore. I have no idea if it has a name so its impossible to reorder. Shop owner told me to do a burning test but ... what for? its polyester. What else can you learn?

    Silk is the best But not the most comfortable... What about latex for latex cloth?

    • @AnnaCurser
      @AnnaCurser 2 года назад

      latex should be polyester, maybe plus elastan. so it would just melt the same.

    • @sunflowerhomeofficial6144

      The breathability of silk and satin fabric is not very good, if you want breathable fabric, cotton can be the perfect choice.
