    • @BBallFilmZone
      @BBallFilmZone 6 часов назад

      Blind 1v1 Defense is at the top of the key facing the rim. Offense puts the ball on the defense’s back. When the offense takes the ball off the defense’s back its live. Offense has to score in the paint. Angle 1v1 or 1v2 Offense starts in a split stance on the wing, facing towards the rim. Defense starts with torso facing the offensive player. Drill is live when the offense’s feet move. If you have a third person you can put them on the opposite block as help defense, they can only leave when the offense’s feet move. Lane 1v1 Normal 1v1 but you have to stay inside the lane lines. Work on shifting defender, taking tight angles, taking tight change of direction angles. These are what I have off the top of my head. Focus on adjusting your angle, changing directions at the right time, etc. After each play, think abt how you could’ve done better/what you did well. You can even record it and watch later.

      @@murd5919 no not a RUclipsr; You can tell how high all three can keep their spine straight and chin up at a ridiculously low angle between their leg and ground. But there is nothing to talk about. Attack the defender’s torso or in AI’s case knee, and establish a clean pass. Defender has to choose to let you go by or foul you. This is why I think very little of modern basketball: there is nothing modern. Anything you can think of about basketball has been established. In its pure form it’s a game of art on executing fundamentals and staying disciplined, like tennis. Yet we only saw it once in 2017 post Magic and Bird due to the dilution of talents over 30 teams.

All those ESPN sponsored analytics are like this. I usually just block these channels whenever I saw them.

    Hey Film Zone?, is there any tips i could improve my confidence?, everytime i have the ball in my hands i keep passing and panicking its like in pressured.

    • @BBallFilmZone
      @BBallFilmZone Месяц назад

      1. Improving your skill and consistently working on it will improve your confidence to an extent. If you can’t execute skills with no defender you can’t do them with a defender. 2. Play 1v1 and 1v2 games that put you in the situations you don’t feel confident in. This way you can play in those situations without the pressure of a real game with lots of ppl. For example… if you get panicky when you catch the ball on the wing with a tight defender, then play one on one with your friend from the wing and tell them they’re allowed to play tight to you and foul you. Another example…let’s say you’re not confident bringing the ball up the court vs pressure. Work on bringing the ball up against two of your friends who are trying to get the ball from you. 3. The third thing I can tell you is to just not be afraid to mess up. The greatest players still airball, turn the ball over, etc, they just don’t let it affect them more after it happens. Hope this helps.

      Extend Out = You’re facing the sideline and you’re trying to “extend” along the lane line bc the shot blocker meets you high. Slide Out = You’re facing the baseline and you’re attacking the front of the rim and then “sliding” out to either side of the rim. The only difference is angle and situation.
