Seems like the hiatus did John's vocals good. Live cleans are much steadier and his shrieks sound more menacing than before.

I saw Bruce on the Accident of Birth tour in 1997 at Jaxx in Springfield VA. They played quite a few Maiden tunes that night, too. Geezer Butler's band opened for them. One of the best shows I've ever been to.

The fact that he only allowed tickets to be sold at the venue's ticket booth to cut down on fees and agencies marking them up was amazing, but the fact that he was the guy in the booth selling those tickets confirms what an absolute legend he is! 👊🤘

I'm into rock, hard rock, heavy metal since 1983. I only found out about them last year, just can't stop listening to them and admiring how they were able to create a category of their own.
