Yknow, playing through on an alt I realize they handle Fray pretty well in the 30-50 quests. It took me until this point to find out the truth about him my first playthrough because it's easy to miss if you're kind of skimming through the quests without overanalysis. Fray seems to ask questions himself and everyone makes eye contact with him when providing their answers, not to mention he helps you in combat. It's not until you really pay attention to what the NPCs say that you start to understand. People start to act nervous around you without ever specifically mentioning the presence of another person. Even in this last battle here I wasn't completely sure because even though you're physically fighting yourself and the knights are helping you, Fray still reminds you that in reality you're just thrashing about in the Whitebrim Front square. In retrospect it's kind of funny, too. You have the warrior of light whoever only really nods and provides occasional snarky responses when the option presents itself suddenly threatening people and telling them how he/she'd be better off leaving them to their fate.

This was the most exciting and fun mechanic I've ever done in FF savage raiding ever. Like you notice how Omega is starting to fallapart and become desperate, shooting everything it has at you in some crazy machinegun frenzy. The whole chassis is shaking, it's shooting mass-barrages of missiles, flamethrowers, laser beams, huge laser cones, nukes, everything it has. So great!

I've been enjoying dark knight less and less, seeing this video with all the old skills reminded me why. God I miss those attacks.

i started playing during stormblood and looking at this scourge and (old) delirum look really baller. i will forever miss power slash animation the most though
