I might save Raditz if it can make sense in the what if scenario, but I'm not gonna rez him without good reason and considering his last appearance in canon was going to kill Gohan before Goku stopped him, that is a tough sell.

I'll rarely use the movie/non canon characters, most of the time they will only appear in what ifs they are directly related to. Honestly a lot of the movies I don't remember besides Path to Power, Broly, Cooler, and the Super connected movies. I'm also, still figuring out how everyone will side, though some placements might surprise you.

@grandcaptainspeedydash : Well this Civil War definitely cause a [STORYSHIFT] In this timeline, so at least some movie/game Characters like Doctor Wheelo & Androids 13-21 maybe possible. @@tianoc-g4811 The androids are gonna be very different in many ways. The really "storyshift" is first and foremost the continuing of the Red Ribbon Army, with everything else being secondary changes.

I question what the wish to take over the world would really do. Depending on what it does, it could actually be a wasted wish. Outside the simplest form of just granting the wish, it would need to do some brainwashing and/or creating/gathering an army otherwise the wish would just be a target on your back or maybe not even work in the first place. If Pilaf got the wish granted in it's simplest form, he'd be dead within a year if he even last a month. Commander Red, would lose lots of soldiers in fighting the King's Army and any other resistance fighters but could probably win (assuming Goku would be dead, probably not surviving Tao in the scenario).

@grandcaptainspeedydash : It also depends on the wording of how you phrase the wish so being specific does help; Heck if the z fighters were smart they could've wished for several things in the sentence of a wish. Which reminds me ,have you seen KishinPain's What-if Bulma joined the Red Ribbon Army? I always fear what would happen if goku joined willingly, But seeing what Bulma could do with the ambition and the resources of the army was actually more terrifying than I could have Ever imagined!😦😬

@tianoc-g4811 Shenron might be able to reject if someone throws too much in a sentence or pick and choose what to grant. Honestly, I think Bulma has always had equivalent or greater resources than the Red Ribbon development team. Though Dr. Gero did the "built it in a cave with scraps!" before Tony Stark did it.

@@grandcaptainspeedydash: Speaking of "building it in the cave with a box of scrap!": After looking at my Mosenko X's Z-Fighter Bulma, I am legitly surprised bulma didn't used the resources of Capsule Corps attempt to use technology to catch up and to gain or grant power equal or even surpassing the Saiyans. Spaceships, Capsule housing, gravity chambers, capsules equipment, mobile food storage, reverse engineered Gero's android data, Ki-Shooting training Drones, blux-wave machine, dragon ball radars that expand from different planets to galaxys, & a Freaking Time Machine! All these are inventions of bulma by herself in canon and takes great pride in creating, so creating an Iron Man style suit or Create her own Android procedure that gives her & other earthlings the power to rival or surpass other ki fighter powerhouse is possible if given the motivation without her vanity getting in the way.

@tianoc-g4811 Yeah, Bulma would be able to make a powerful suit, especially after getting Dr. Gero's blueprints. Just think of a Bulma powersuit with infinite energy and energy absorbers. Maybe I might do my own version, though most likely Bulma would end up making a remote control setup to control the suit without putting herself in danger. Similar to something in Iron Man Armored Adventures.

I hadn't thought far ahead yet, but depending on how I feel, it's possible.

Vegeta staying on Namek wasn't his choice, Frieza held Vegeta in place with telekinesis wanting Vegeta to be stuck in the vacuum of space. During the canon story Vegeta stayed on Earth waiting for Goku and remained on Earth because of Bulma, though in this what if Vegeta is waiting for Frieza and ends up remaining for the same reason.

​@grandcaptainspeedydash : You know what would be crazy: if Perfect Cell actually absorbed a immortal being the same way he absorbed the androids and nearly GT Goku; It could be like an organic infinite energy engine. ( Whether if it's garlic junior, King Piccolo, immortal vegeta ,or even Zamasu)

@@tianoc-g4811 It is a really interesting thing to think about. You could do it a number of ways that Cell is able to fully absorb the immortal and gains immortality, just absorbs the immortal for a normal power boost, constantly is absorbing the immortal endlessly getting stronger and stronger, or simply the immortality prevents Cell from absorbing the target with the target escaping similar to how GT Goku escaped. Also, King Piccolo only wished for his youth back. It wasn't even eternal youth but just restoring his youth.

@@grandcaptainspeedydash : Yes, and I'm glad about the multiple sources that hint at this, so the various effects of absorbing an immortal character has literal endless possibilities. Also I think the King Piccolo wishing for eternal youth was a mistranslation, same goes for Slug

It's hard to state why I won't do many series, but here are a couple of reasons I can somewhat describe. 1. I'm interested enough in the series to dive deep into lore 2. A simpler lore without it being spread many different mediums. 3. No or limited big/important details unresolved or has ended giving room for a theory to be unlikely to get officially challenged. Currently, Dragon Ball is the only series that fits all check boxes.

@@grandcaptainspeedydash : Same: the first What if story that was not in the internet was the Star Wars Infinite comics of Luke missing the shot and the Death Star blowing up the rebel base. The one I saw myself in game was the Force Unleashed Sith Edition alternate timeline, where Starkiller's Clone was Canon and hunted down the main cast, Even a Jedi Leia! And finally I was fully hooked on What-if Stories and Alternate Timelines/Dimensions ever since I first saw the Undertale AU multiverse ( during & after high school)

To be honest, I can't see Kakarot as anything more than a squad leader. I personally can't see him being a good General/Admiral.

The age difference is a bit much unless they meet up again much later. (8-11 years difference) Goku is 13-16 years old, while Ranfan is 24 years old during the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai.

@@tianoc-g4811 Honestly it's because of you that I did the Raditz x Ranfan in born with UI. I often forget about Ranfan because of how little time she has and how kind of forgettable she was on screen.

It was anger towards himself that caused Vegeta to first transform into a Super Saiyan. In this what if, Vegeta's rage is how he believes Goku has been cheating to get ahead of him and that rage gets to the point that it is enough to transform him into a Super Saiyan.

I don't remember any requirement besides ssj and controlling Oozaru being said in GT. Anyway, it makes it interesting with Goku and Vegeta using two different Super Saiyan lines for a while.

At first, I thought you were talking about my OC but the way I do my videos wouldn't quite be suited for the type of story you're talking about (manga form probably would be ideal for that kinda story). Though many times, the story falls apart if characters are stronger, sometimes for the worse.

I did have Raditz get with Bulma and basically became a stand-in for Vegeta in the Gravity before Z series.

I plan to, it's my best performing what if series that hasn't caught up to the latest content (Third best overall).

There are a few problems for the idea currently. 1. Gas wasn't so much evil as loyal to Elec. 2. I don't believe Frieza actually killed Gas but rather Gas aged to dust because of Elec's wish. 3. It's too new, so there is not enough content to go through.

@@gamma1743 Now that is an interesting what if idea. Though it will require a few deep rereadings of the Granolah the Survivor Saga. I think I will slide it second from top of my do next what if series list, finally found a Vegeta centered what if to do and will do that next time I start a new what if.

There are many ways to continue, with what the wish being a major plot point that has a number of different outcomes for what the wish is and what effects that wish will have. There is one way for the events that I'm considering but it might be going a little far by changing something else quite a bit.

​@grandcaptainspeedydash : As long as the development of other red ribbon characters continue on a little more (Silver, Yellow, Blue ,White ,Dr.Wheelo, The Murasaki Brothers, Launch, and Red & Gero's Families) , then it's fine what direction the story goes. I am anticipating a conflict between Capsule Corp and the Ribbon Army. There's one thing that I'd like to give a try during the 2nd to 3rd martial arts tournament: A relationship between Captain Crimson (Goku) and Ranfan

But it doesn't work if he injuries himself, according to Vegeta.

Said on Namek before having Krillin nearly kill him so he can get a Zenkai boost to fight Frieza, the other two Zenkai boost on Namek were from him getting thrashed by Zarbon and Recoome.

I think personally I would do it more as he lands at the red ribbon base and is adopted by Commander Red thanks to Colonel Violet and becomes something like a brother to Magenta. Also, orange clothing is something he picked up training with Master Roshi while before that he wore blue clothing. Edit: I'll probably do it in a while, but I have other ideas that I'll follow first.

Originally, Elder Kai gave Goku his life so that Goku would be able to return to the battlefield. Shenron isn't able to bring back Goku since he brought Goku back before meaning if they want to wish Goku back then they would need Porunga and Goku might still be resisting being revived like he was after Cell however Beerus can get Whis to revive Goku but having Whis continue to make Goku ever stronger sounds more like Beerus at least until Beerus gets tired of having Goku around. Besides Goku enjoys being able to spend all his time training instead of returning to Earth and having to follow through on his promise to Chi-Chi to get a job.

Quite a few ways that can go, maybe I'll try brainstorming a script later. You did give me another similar idea for a what if, What If Goku joined Pilaf.

That would be making Super Saiyan 3 very easy to achieve as Goku most likely only just got Super Saiyan 3 nearing the end of the 7 year timeskip. To be honest, that could make an interesting what if of Goku getting Super Saiyan 3 while training with Gohan. Edit: I was nearly forgetting Gotanks but even then that was thanks to knowing it existed however shooting in the dark wouldn't have as much luck.

@brandongovreau9218 They knew about Super Saiyan 3 and probably spent a good amount of their training focused on that goal, which the manga does make it sound like they only just achieved it before Piccolo lead Buu to them.

The 24th is the tournament Hercule won and isn't show outside flashbacks or references. The 23rd was the one where Goku fought Piccolo and finally won a tournament, you can pull up Dragon ball chapter 168 in the second from last page of manga volume 14 to see 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai.
