I would ask for help in a facebook group. If you are active in a few you tube channels ask for help there also. I’ve found both to be helpful. The sweater is gorgeous. Worth the effort to keep going. 😊

Oh precious lady, I feel so much for your predicament! 🤷🏻‍♀️☹️ I'm in Australia but I heard through the grapevine about an online Mill company called Lens Mill's and they apparently stock a lot of discontinued yarn in the states, so that is where I'd try. That is such a good question that I'm sure many of us wonder, where does their stock go when they close down, what do they do with everything they own, shelving in the stores even, what happens to it all?? Is there any way to find out who the owner of that store was and possibly write to them to ask? Often there are contact details on the label to say where it was made, an address or website perhaps where you might be able to dig a bit to find a way to get in touch with someone? I would be trying that first, and then if that fails try to get a similar complimentary yarn that can go with what you need for the rest to complete it. What was wrong with the scruffy bit, the small bundle that wasn't wound, can that be saved to get you a bit more?? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I can see a nice apricot going well for the sleeves maybe if you need to get another complimentary colour to blend with it. I must ask though, what is the pattern you're using? I was so intrigued with the shaping and how it seems to be a whole piece that comes together to form a cardigan shape, so interesting! Did you come up with the design yourself or are you using a pattern? Really lovely and please keep us informed with your search, would love to hear if you are able to find some more to complete your cardigan project, it really looks lovely and you deserve to be able to finish it! 🤞🏻

Still working on granny squares. I’ve done about 50 this week. Ready to move on but nothing is calling yet. Love the sweater, it’s beautiful. 🤩

I have been working down my scrap balls and open skeins. I have 73 granny squares of Caron simply soft ready and 40 squares of paintbox Aran. Eventually I’ll put together a couple blankets. When there is not enough left for a center I make a scrap ball for future use. Hopefully 1 more week and back to my regular projects.

Suggestion: If you have pets you could make a cat or dog bed. I’m making several throw blankets for Christmas presents but I stopped to make a couple of beach cover ups then back to blankets. 😂😂 But then I stopped yesterday to make a cat bed for my sister. Then I want to make a dog bed (different pattern) for my other sister. Both pet beds I’m using Jumbo 7 yarn. I could use 3 or 4 strands of #4 yarn together but decided to use #7…..hope the sides stands up ok. I’m just back & forth on my projects just as everyone else does. 😂😂 My sister in Knoxville has asked me to make her Couch Arm Covers….I need 2 for the couch & 2 for the chair. I’ve never made these before. Have you ever made Arm Covers for a couch? Have a great Sun Shining Day! 🌞 😊🧶🤗💜

🥰 LOVE your work! I have moved to using cotton yarn for a market bag for Saturday Farmer's Market here. I have been trying cotton yarn initially as I made potholders and placemats for my son's first apartment! Then I use cotton yarn and add twine, doubling it, to make sturdy baskets for my home, bathroom cabinets, dressers or for filling up as themed gift baskets!

I’m finishing a filet blanket. I think my next blanket may be the holly and Hank channel primrose blanket. Similar to the midwife blanket.

I don't shop Target, so I couldn't say anything one way or the other about their version... 🙃

Hi Diana…..Ohhhhh YES I love your bag!! It’s so pretty and you did a great job too!! No I did not know Target sold crochet bags. Crochet items are becoming more popular now in the retail stores tho. It’s awesome that we can make our very own! 🙌🧶🙌 What size hook did you use and what colorway of yarn did you use? Blanket is gorgeous and hope you get it done before she goes home. This lady put 7 yarns together and made a bag. It was a very sturdy bag with leather handles. Some people can make keychain animals with small yarns. Someone make little gummybears keychains. They call it armachromie style that eveybody is doing

For me, I love to watch YT channels and videos which have short and easy tutorials, and also those wherein the content creator discusses the pros and cons of a yarn brand / quality (basically, reviews the yarn and tells for what type of projects it would be the most suitable).
