Ufufy were pretty big in Japan, just like tsum tsums. Essentially if it’s big in Japan, the US will try to sell it at the Disney Store, and hope it takes off. I believe NuiMOs were the last fad they tried to do this with. I’m surprised they haven’t tried Bearniversity here yet, as it’s still a thing at the Disney Store in Japan, but I guess they tried to bring back Duffy, which is still epicly huge, and there just wasn’t enough interest here.

You’re like Link from Mythical. You like what you like when it comes to food. I’m glad you’re expanding your experiences though. The fact is the food you try that you don’t like? At least you tried it. However, trying the new stuff might help you find a new fave food! Either way it’s an experience and that’s a good thing. Also remember some things are an acquired taste. I used to hate olives but now I’m starting to really enjoy them. You never know what might surprise you. I’ve found I love Thai food despite being iffy about fish sauce. I’ve found I like chicken feet Filipino style. I found I like chicken hearts and gizzards with thyme cooked in butter with colcannon (mashed potato with kale). As long as it’s safe I think it’s good to be adventurous.

One day I want to finally visit Japan. It’s been a dream of mine for a long time. It’s actually a thing to not eat and walk on the street in Japan. You’re supposed to find a little spot off the street or sit down I think? At least that’s what I’ve come to understand anyway. That’s probably why they didn’t want you to eat on the street as it were? I’m not sure if you knew that rule or not

I’m really enjoying your vlogs. Great work :) Ichiran is indeed the maccas of ramen. It isn’t the best but it’s certainly not horrible apparently. I don’t know if you’ve heard of 5am Ramen the RUclips channel but if you want to learn the best places to go for ramen that’s the channel to go to. I’ve been discussing ramen with him over Insta for ages. He’s super nice.
