Oh yes, that St170 head swap fought me tooth and nail and it's not normal for me to be that furious with a car. I'm sure the turbo version is lovely to work on, they really could've designed a smaller engine bay.

Owner from China, brilliant car and it’s the only European hot hatch we can get here, standard manual, 24k miles I get. Great great chassis and sufficient power. Only thing I dislike is the clutch, too heavy, nothing else I can complain

I would say your locking wheel nuts were probably over tightened. Ford uses a standard locking wheel nut for all of their range of cars. The one thing I don't like about Ford wheel nuts is the size. They have like a chrome cover over the standard metric size nut making them awkward to remove with a standard metric socket. Minor complaint though. I love my Fiesta ST!

On the replacement gear knob you failed to unscrew the silver cover, where you have to put the 4 grub screws in, then put the screw the silver cover back on

Ive got the same issue with mine. The stick itself needs to be cut down i think

Mk6 look waaaaaay better but yes I know Mk7 are the superior car. That 1.6 turbo is probs one of the best 1.6 engines ever!
